Zox, known for its stylish wristbands with inspirational messages, now has an extensive line of Apple Watch bands for folks wanting to stand out from the crowd. Zox, founded in 2011 by three brothers, is a company that started off by making niche artisanal and colorful wristbands. It has since expanded its portfolio to include jewelry, backpacks, clothing, and bands for smartwatches like the Apple Watch. What makes its products different is the inclusion of motivational quotes that the company says can "uplift and encourage" users.
Zox's Apple Watch bands come with uplifting messages that are always readable without any aid, irrespective of the band's size. The bands are priced at $24.95 and include messages like 'Never Give Up,' 'Go For It,' 'I'm With You Always,' 'You Are Loved,' and more. They are also numbered to ensure that each band is unique. The best part about the new bands is that they are eco-friendly. Partnering with Repreve, the Zox Apple Watch bands are produced using elastic milled from recycled water bottles. The company claims that each band helps recycle an 8 oz water bottle and helps reduce the amount of plastic waste in oceans and landfills.

Zox also works with reputable non-profit organizations, with a portion of its sales going to various charities. One such collaboration is with the Thirst Project which helps provide clean drinking water to families in need. Last year, the company donated $25,000 to Ms. JD's 2021 Public Interest Scholarship Program to provide women studying law with a stipend as they pursue careers in public interest law. The design used to raise money for the program was made in honor of the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Last year, the company also raised nearly $70,000 in humanitarian aid to support Ukrainian refugees following the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Zox designed a yellow and blue wristband in the colors of the Ukrainian flag to help raise money to provide relief in Ukraine. "This design is meant to encourage the people of Ukraine that we're still here, we still care, and we're doing everything we can to help," said Zox CEO and co-founder Jason Kuipers.
Apple Watch users have many band options from Apple and various third-party accessory makers. Late last year, Apple released a series of bands for the Apple Watch Ultra, including the Trail Loop, Alpine Loop, and Ocean Band, all tailored to cater to different outdoor activities. Many third-party accessory makers also routinely release bands for the Apple Watch. That includes companies like Nomad, which recently launched a metal link bracelet made out of titanium for the Apple Watch Ultra. Zox will be hoping that its Apple Watch bands can make a name for themselves among Apple Watch users.
