The Fletch franchise reboot - which was previously in development at Warner Bros. - has found a new home at Relativity Studios. The project aims to breathe new life into the character of reporter I. M. Fletcher from the titular series of Gregory McDonald novels.

Jason Sudeikis is still in talks for the role, which was played by Chevy Chase in a pair of 1980s comedies. There's no word on whether the film will be based on "Fletch Won", the novel that tells the story of Fletch's first big career move, though it is expected to be an origin story.

'Sesame Street'

Warner Bros. has acquired the rights to a feature film based on long-running children's television series Sesame Street. Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum) is attached to direct.

The film was previously in development over at Fox, but the version in the works at Warner Bros. is expected to feature a different approach. No writers have been confirmed just yet, but the film is expected to be a New York-set adventure similar in tone to 2011 film The Muppets.

Chris Pratt will star in The Real McCoy, a new action-adventure film for Universal. The project - written by Bill Dubuque (The Judge) - centers on bootlegger Bill McCoy, whose life inspired the title expression.

The film marks the latest in a long string of lead roles in high-profile action films for the Guardians of the Galaxy star. Pratt will appear later this year in Jurassic World and will star alongside Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke in director Antoine Fuqua's The Magnificent Seven remake (due to arrive in early 2017).

Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone

Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone may reunite for La La Land, writer/director Damien Chazelle's follow-up to the Oscar-winning Whiplash. The film is described as an old-fashioned romantic musical focusing on a love story between a jazz pianist and a young actress.

No deals are currently in place, but it sounds like both the studio and stars are keen to reach an agreement. Gosling and Stone previously shared the screen in the 2011 romantic dramedy Crazy, Stupid, Love.
