What's the song in the Zombieland: Double Tap trailer? The Zombieland: Double Tap trailer is here, and it's a high-energy affair with an equally energetic song to help tease what the actual film will be like. Zombieland: Double Tap is the long-awaited sequel to 2009's Zombieland starring Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin.

The Zombieland: Double Tap trailer puts a spotlight on the quartet of survivors who've become a surrogate family in the wake of the apocalypse: Columbus (Eisenberg), Tallahassee (Harrelson), Wichita (Stone), and Little Rock (Breslin). The foursome has made their way to Washington D.C. and choose to set up a new homestead in - where else? - the White House. But their time in their new place of residence seems to be short-lived when Little Rock disappears and heads out on the open road by herself. With no choice but to go out and find her, Columbus, Tallahassee, and Wichita set out on the open road to get Little Rock back. Along the way, they cross paths with other survivors played by the new additions Zoey Deutsch, Rosario Dawson, Thomas Middleditch, Luke Wilson, and Avan Jogia.

The Zombieland: Double Tap trailer song is AC/DC's "Shoot to Thrill", a classic rock anthem that aims to get viewers excited for the film. This brash, loud, and fun anthem perfectly matches the energy of the trailer, which shows each Zombieland: Double Tap character doing whatever it takes to survive the zombie apocalypse. In most cases, this includes taking down any zombies they come in contact with by any means necessary and with any weapon they can find.

The lyrics of "Shoot to Thrill" help to drive this point home. AC/DC lead singer Brian Johnson half-sings and half-shouts, "I'm gonna take you down - down, down, down/So don't you fool around/I'm gonna pull it, pull it, pull the trigger," and later, during the chorus, sings, "Shoot to thrill, play to kill/I got my gun at the ready, gonna fire at will."

The lyrics match up perfectly with shots in the trailer featuring Tallahassee, Wichita, and Little Rock all shooting, hitting, or tackling zombies in an effort to kill them. Of course, when hearing this song, moviegoers may find themselves thinking about either Iron Man or Spider-Man, because the song was most recently used in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Then again, it's an incredibly popular song that has stood the test of time and used in countless movie and TV productions. But fingers crossed the rest of the Zombieland sequel soundtrack is as fast-paced and uptempo as this AC/DC track because it looks like the film itself will be a nonstop thrill ride.
