For a game that is mainly about killing zombies, Zombie Army 4: Dead War is actually full of a bunch of little puzzles for players to experiment with. These puzzles mainly are very rarely difficult to solve, and mainly serve as a fun little side activity to take the player's mind off of killing things for a few moments. Players will also obtain some fun little collectibles.
One of the more interesting puzzles in the game takes its inspiration from Stranger Things. Fans of the show will probably remember the lights that Joyce Byers uses to try and contact her son Will in the Upside Down. This is very similar in that lights are set up in a way that they correspond to different letters of the alphabet. This guide will show players how exactly how to enter the correct letter combination.
Solving the Light Puzzle in Zombie Army 4
Players will stumble across this puzzle during the end of Death Canal level, right before they enter the safe room. Once they enter the room containing the puzzle they will find some words scrawled on the wall to the left that says, "Use your BRAINS BRAINS BRAINS BRAINS."
On the right side of the room, players will see the three rows of hanging lights and the alphabet. Each letter of the alphabet will be below or above a specific hanging light. In the right-hand corner, players will also see a small safe. To open this safe, players will just need to shoot the lights and spell out the word "BRAINS". If done correctly players will be able to unlock the safe but should be careful not to mess up as shooting the lights will break them. This also means that players probably shouldn't use an explosive weapon, as that will more than likely break more than the player intends.
