A brand new Spider-Man: No Way Home behind-the-scenes image is shared by Zendaya to celebrate Tom Holland's birthday. The actors play on-screen couple, Peter Parker and MJ, who finally became an official item at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home. They will come together again for the upcoming Jon Watts-directed Marvel Studios flick.

With the release date for Spider-Man: No Way Home nearing, marketing for the movie will expectedly begin soon. There are a lot of questions surrounding the project, which will supposedly be a live-action take on the SpiderVerse narrative with persistent rumors claiming that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will also appear in the movie. For what it's worth, Alfred Molina's Doc Ock from Spider-Man 2 is already confirmed for the threequel, and MCU architect, Kevin Feige, announced that it will have narrative ties to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, backing up those reports. However, both Sony and Marvel Studios remain mum about the blockbuster.

In any case, Zendaya is delivering on new Spider-Man: No Way Home content by sharing a behind-the-scenes image of Holland while on a filming break. It was shared in celebration of the actor's birthday. Looking at the photo, the pair clearly has a great friendship off-screen. Previously, Jake Gyllenhaal, who played Mysterio/Quentin Beck shared a Spider-Man: Far From Home snap for the same reason; officially, however, he's not expected to appear in the threequel. Check out Zendaya's tribute below:

Not much can be deciphered from the aforementioned image in terms of the narrative of Spider-Man: No Way Home; even the background is too blurry to figure out where they were when shooting this particular scene. But given Holland's face mask and face shield, it gives a good insight regarding what the working conditions were for the cast and crew of the Marvel Studios/Sony collaboration while filming the blockbuster. The project was shot entirely amidst the coronavirus pandemic, which would've made it more challenging. But, the team pulled through, and now it's in post-production.

There was buzz that the first trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home would drop on Holland's birthday, the same way Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings' teaser did for Simu Liu's. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. At this point, the only official update for the film has only been the announcement of its title coupled with a single promo still. With just a little bit over six months to go before it hits theaters, it's curious when proper marketing will kickstart, but it's safe to say that it will be sooner rather than later.
