An Elden Ring player has paid tribute to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild by creating a custom avatar themed after the Gerudo character Urbosa. This is far from the first time that someone has used FromSoftware's most recent game to create some unique fan content, as gamers have leveraged its character creator to insert recreations of beloved icons like Gandalf into Elden Ring.

Since its release less than a month ago, Elden Ring has spawned countless pieces of viral online content. Much of this content centers on the game's brutal difficulty and sprawling, diverse open world, as players are regularly uncovering new elements of Elden Ring's gameplay, lore, and more. Before traversing The Lands Between, however, players have to create their character, which has been another source of Elden Ring fan content. FromSoftware has further improved upon its long-running character personalization options, which allow for the in-depth customization of a character's face and body by way of various sliders and menus. Dedicated and created gamers have been able to bring other video game characters like The Witcher's Ciri to Elden Ring thanks to these robust options.

Reddit user Vextalyst is continuing this trend of video game crossover content in Elden Ring with their recreation of Breath of the Wild's Urbosa. Vextalyst's post shows how similar their creation is to the Legend of Zelda character, boasting the same hair, eye color, and facial features. Even Urbosa's signature blue lips have been carried over in this build. Additional screenshots show that Vextalyst chose the Hero class for this character, which provides starting armor that is also somewhat similar to her attire in Breath of the Wild.

There is no shortage of novel details and secrets to be uncovered when it comes to Elden Ring's mysterious gear, NPCs, bosses, and environments, but some of the game's more basic features also seem to offer a great deal of depth. The character creator is a good example of this, as it has been proven that players can make use of it to birth truly unique and impressive custom characters. Avatars themed after existing characters are even more impressive, as there is a standard that they can be measured against.

As Elden Ring's player base continues to grow and become more accustomed to its character creator, it's likely that more unique creations will see the light of day. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has no shortage of iconic characters, so it's even possible that more familiar faces from the modern Nintendo classic will pop up in Elden Ring down the road.
