Zelda: Breath of the Wild Climbing Gear Location Guide

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Nintendo Switch

Finding the climbing gear in The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild is a must for those who want to explore every nook and cranny of the map - here are the Breath Of The Wild climbing gear locations. Just like Super Mario or Metroid, The Legend Of Zelda is another iconic franchise by Nintendo. The games are a mix of action and RPG, with player guiding series hero Link as he sets out to save the kingdom of Hyrule or Princess Zelda.

The Legend Of Zelda franchise has an almost embarrassing number of great games, from the 1986 original, the N64 title Ocarina Of Time to 2013's The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker. The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild for the Nintendo Switch joined that list in 2017, being roundly praised for its lush, open-world sandbox that allowed players to do pretty much anything they wanted. The anime art style and combat mechanics also received praise. A Legend Of Zelda TV series is also reportedly in development from Adi Shankar, the producer of Netflix's Castlevania.

Traversing the landscape of The Legend Of Zelda: The Breath Of The Wild's Hyrule requires a lot of stamina on Link's part. One way to build up his climbing abilities is to acquire the three pieces of climbing gear spread out around the map. Here are locations of Breath Of The Wild's climbing gear that will make traveling Hyrule that much simpler.

The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild

The Climber's Bandana Location

To find the Breath Of The Wild's Climber's Bandana, guide Link to the Ree Dahee Shrine in the Duelling Peaks tower region. Once inside, claiming the bandana is a matter of solving a simple puzzle involving pressure plates and then using Magnesis to drag a barrel over the final plate. This opens up a path to the Bandana's chest.

The Climbing Gear Location

To nab the Breath Of The Wild Climbing Gear, travel to the Chass Qeta Shrine on the map. Unfortunately, you can't just walk in and take it as Link first needs to defeat a Guardian in one of the seven Major Tests Of Strength found in the game. Once you've beaten the Guardian, you can grab the Climbing Gear from the chest.

The Climbing Boots Location

The Climbing Boots are probably the easiest of the Breath Of The Wild climbing gear to grab. Go to the Tahno O'ah Shrine and lob a bomb at a destructible piece of rock and head inside to get the boots.

With The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild climbing gear in tow, exploring the game's amazing sandbox should go a lot smoother.
