Hyrule Castle from The Legend of Zelda has been remade in The Sims 4 with a Breath of the Wild-inspired flair, and the results are stunning. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild recently celebrated its fourth birthday, and fans of the open-world Nintendo Switch masterpiece haven't forgotten about it in the slightest.

Similar to the excitement around Zelda's 35th anniversary, fans of the game have shared countless tributes, mods, and more to show their love for the series. Even former president of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime, tweeted a clip of Link on the back of the Lord of the Mountain, praising the game for its “magical” moments. Digital drawings, regular gameplay clips, and cosplay weren’t the only ways the birthday of Breath of the Wild was celebrated online. TikToks, fan comics, and videos of mods that allow the player to control Princess Zelda were also shared in the jubilee. This game means a lot to people all over the internet.

Sati, who creates incredibly intricate buildings in The Sims 4, posted a picture of the final product of her Breath of the Wild-inspired Hyrule Castle on Twitter. A time-lapse video of Sati making the castle was later uploaded to her YouTube channel, Sati Sim. Sati’s channel is full of these time-lapse Sims 4 creation videos, many of which are themed after other games, Disney locations, and Hogwarts Castle from Harry Potter. The main build videos range from 20 to 50 minutes long, and there are shorter speed builds on the channel, as well.

Sati said in a tweet that the build took over 100 hours to complete and that she did it without mods or custom content uploaded to The Sims 4 by other users. In the Hyrule Castle time-lapse video, Sati said that she started the project by looking at reference pictures and by visiting the castle herself on her Switch in Breath of the Wild. Not all angles of the castle needed to build such a detailed version of the castle were available with these resources, so Sati joined a modding Discord server for Breath of the Wild. There, Sati got in contact with a user on the Discord server who supplied her with a 3D model of the castle.

The image of The Sims 4 Hyrule Castle build from deserves to be blown up on larger displays and to have its little details marveled at. The long hours that went into this build really show, especially in the time-lapse video. The video on Sati’s YouTube channel is lengthy, but it is worth the watch to see everything that went into building this beautiful castle.
