A fan of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has shared a hilarious clip of their unfortunate bow-attack standoff with a Silver Moblin in what's a case of incredible timing from both the player and the enemy. Zelda: Breath of the Wild is one of Nintendo's biggest games for many reasons, with its often-intuitive enemies continuing to surprise and delight players even years after the title's release.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild's vast open-world is packed with various different types of enemies for players to defeat. While some prefer to attack in droves, others are more independent, with each enemy type offering a new challenge for players to overcome. Moblins are one of the most memorable enemies in the game, with lots of variety across the species including Red, Blue, Black, and Golden forms. Moblins might not be as hard to defeat as BOTW's tough Lynels, but they can still be a formidable foe in the right circumstances.

Redditor SmokieGaming6 has shared a clip of their surprising and hilarious Zelda: Breath of the Wild battle, which sadly ended in disaster. The clip shows Link taking on a Silver Moblin, drawing his bow and firing an ice arrow at the exact same time as the enemy does. Both arrows meet their targets simultaneously, freezing both Link and the Moblin in place just before Link's health fully depletes. The case of terrible yet impressive timing has drawn a lot of attention from Redditors, with the clip receiving over 4,000 upvotes at the time of writing.

The funny video highlights just how alive Breath of the Wild enemy encounters can feel, with both its random enemy attacks and boss battles often coming across less scripted than those of other AAA games. The Silver Moblin's well-timed retaliation plays out like something from a movie as opposed to something from an unscripted video game encounter. With such exact timing used by both the player and the enemy, this sadly may be hard for others to replicate in their own journey through Hyrule.

Despite releasing in 2017, Breath of the Wild continues to offer plenty for even its most veteran players to explore and uncover. The game is known not only for including special dialogue and hidden missions, but also for offering player freedom rarely so well executed. While many are still uncovering everything the game has to offer, the upcoming Breath of the Wild 2 is slated for a 2022 release, and will hopefully offer a similarly diverse and exciting game world.
