Deadpool 2 star Zazie Beetz is becoming a very sought-after actress, as she's currently in talks to star in both the Kristen Stewart film Against All Enemies and the Natalie Portman movie Pale Blue Dot. In Against All Enemies, Stewart stars as screen actress Jean Seberg who in the late '60s finds herself the target of an FBI Cointelpro campaign. Pale Blue Dot, meanwhile, stars Portman as an astronaut who begins unraveling after returning to earth from a long mission in space.

Zazie Beetz's now-exploding acting career initially took off thanks to her performance as Van in season 1 of Donald Glover's FX series Atlanta. Beetz remains part of the ensemble for Atlanta season 2, as the show continues exploring Van's very unique relationship with Glover's Earn. One recent episode took advantage of Beetz's fluency in German to emphasize the wide gulf between her and Earn's backgrounds. Later this year, Beetz will enjoy her highest-profile film role to date, playing Domino in Deadpool 2. The actress reportedly has a 3-movie deal to portray the character, a sharp-shooter with probability-altering powers.

As reported by Variety, Zazie Beetz is now in talks to add her talents to the cast of Kristen Stewart's Against All Enemies. Specifics of Beetz's character remain under wraps. In addition, THR reports that Beetz will join Natalie Portman and Jon Hamm in the cast of Noah Hawley's Pale Blue Dot. Beetz's character in that film is involved in a love triangle together with astronauts Portman and Hamm.

Against All Enemies gives Beetz a chance to appear in a prestige period film dealing with very heavy material. Jean Seberg's story not only delves into the tragedy of a Hollywood star who plunged into personal darkness, it also details what happens when famous people try to use their notoriety to support a cause and find themselves targeted by powerful forces seeking to silence them. The drama co-stars Anthony Mackie, Jack O'Connell, Margaret Qualley and Colm Meaney. Benedict Andrews directs from a script by Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse.

By comparison, astronaut drama Pale Blue Dot sounds like another mind-bending trip from Fargo and Legion creator Noah Hawley. In the film, Portman plays an astronaut whose sense of reality becomes warped as she tries to re-adjust to life on earth. The plot sees Portman's character pursuing Hamm's character, her former partner in space. In addition to the two new roles she's lining up, Beetz also will star with Andre Holland in Steven Soderbergh's High Flying Bird. In the meantime, Beetz's name is set to become huge as she joins Ryan Reynolds, Josh Brolin and the gang in the superhero sequel Deadpool 2.
