Fans of Zack Snyder's Justice League will be pleased to know the soundtrack by Junkie XL is getting its very own deluxe vinyl box set this month. Demand for the "Snyder Cut" ever since the original Justice League premiered in theaters helped demonstrated how much passion is still out there for the DCEU franchise. Releasing the soundtrack in this manner is a nice way to reward the die-hard fans who never gave up on seeing Snyder's version of the film.

Zack Snyder's Justice League released on HBO Max back in March 2020 to much fanfare from Warner Bros and DC, and a lot of excitement from the fans. The film clocked in around 4 hours, and restored most of the scenes that replacement director, Joss Whedon, had removed from the theatrical cut of the film. The new cut also tweaked some of the plot details, costumes, and effects that had been altered for continuity when Whedon had made his changes.

As for the finer details on the exclusive box set, starting off, it will only be available at the Mondo Shop, and each vinyl will come with a black and white silver foil slip case with artwork by Mondo's own Creative Director, Mo Shafeek. The discs were pressed on 180 Gram Vinyl, with a special laser etched B-Side on the 7th disc. Fans can pre-order the collectible for $200 starting on Wednesday April 14th at the MondoShop.

While Zach Snyder's Justice League may not have been the game-changing experience many fans had hoped it would be, the score should be thought of in a somewhat different category. Junkie XL had collaborated with Zimmer on all of the scores for Snyder's DCEU movies, and it seemed odd to not have their musical input in the original theatrical cut of Justice League. For fans of film music and soundtracks, the most intriguing part of Snyder's new version was the return of Junkie XL's score. His distinctive style can definitely be heard in the new cut with familiar notes that felt more in line with the world Snyder had built. His soundtrack helps tie Zach Snyder's Justice League to all the DCEU movies that came before, showcasing all of the themes they had been working with since Man of Steel. It seems right that just as Snyder finally got his moment in the sun with the release of his cut on HBO Max, Junkie XL also got his recognition with the release of this vinyl box set celebrating his work in the DCEU.
