A new trailer for the monochromatic version of Zack Snyder's Justice League has been released with the director premiering a sneak peek for it. It's been less than a week since the much-clamored version of the Warner Bros. ensemble project started streaming on HBO Max, but there's another incarnation of the movie coming. This time, it will have a black and white palette.

Over three years since the theatrical version of Justice League hit theaters, proponents of the Release the Snyder Cut movement finally got what they've been demanding. The four-hour version of the film reveals Snyder's original vision for the movie before it was significantly altered by reshoots that were overseen by replacement director, Joss Whedon. Aside from the scenes already shot during the movie's principal photography, Snyder also added the Knightmare sequence towards the end of Zack Snyder's Justice League which brings Jared Leto's Joker into the film. It teases what the Justice League sequels would be about, tackling Superman turning evil following the death of Lois Lane. As it is, there are no plans to move forward with the rest of Snyder's story, but soon, fans can enjoy another different version of the Snyder Cut.

Officially titled Zack Snyder's Justice League: Justice is Gray, it's uncertain what this new version of the film will be compared to its recent predecessor, other than a black and white color palette. That said, Snyder did tease that it might feature an alternate scene of Jared Leto's Joker who only appeared in the movie's Knightmare sequence. No additional information is out about what the aforementioned new scene will be, but it's safe to assume that it won't significantly change the context of the narrative. If anything, it might be more about the personal relationship between Batman and the Clown Prince of Crime.

Known for his aesthetics, Snyder said that this black and white version of Zack Snyder's Justice League, coupled with its 4:3 aspect ratio is his favorite incarnation of the movie. Whether or not it's worth sitting down for another four hours is entirely up to viewers. That said, for those who are already planning on rewatching the film, might as well try this monochromatic take during their next viewing.
