Zack Snyder is teasing plans for additional Justice League reshoots in his award for his fan poster contest. A month ago, Snyder officially announced his plans for a fan poster contest, promising a piece of Justice League league memorabilia as a prize for the winner, and now that prize is revealed along with a major tease for his Justice League movie.

Snyder previously confirmed the existence of his director's cut of Justice League on multiple occasions, and more recently gave it the official title of Zack Snyder's Justice Leaguealso confirming the cut to be 214 minutes long. While the cut is certainly more complete than many of Snyder's detractors think, it still needs some additional work, as Snyder and members of the crew have confirmed on several occasions.

Yesterday, Snyder revealed the four finalists in his fan poster contest (which received over 1,200 submissions), and now he's revealing the award, along with a major tease. Now, Zack Snyder revealed the prize is Justice League's clapperboard with a special message from Zack. On the back, it says

"Please extend to the bearer of this slate the right to pass all security protocols and the permission to operate this motion picture scene and sync marker on the set of any additional photography for the motion picture known as Zack Snyder's Justice League in the unlikely and purely speculative even that such photography is needed."

The front of the slate describes the scene(s) as "something cool with Batman, Superman, [Lois], or Martian Manhunter."

So what does this all mean? Well, Snyder coyly says "in the unlikely and purely speculative event that such photography is needed," which some may take to mean this entire award is moot, however, it's clear Snyder has been fighting to get his original version of Justice League released, so this could also be read as a wink to acknowledge he doesn't have anything official to announce yet, but hopes to soon.

We already knew Justice League was intended to have a Marian Manhunter scene Snyder never shot, which the slate mentions, but it's not clear what additional scenes the other characters are for, unless he's referring to the "really scary' scene he never shot from his original version where Darkseid kills Lois Lane. The other big revelation here is Snyder expects Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and Amy Adams to participate in additional photography. So Ben Affleck's claims he had closed the door on Batman entirely may have been exaggerated. However, he also recently said he told Zack he'd do whatever he could to help, so he's certainly keeping his word to his friend.

There date on the slate says "TBD," so this is obviously all still speculative at this point, as Snyder said, but it'd be a lie to say this isn't the filmmaker's boldest move yet in the efforts to get his true vision for Justice League released. There's been a steady escalation ever since #ReleaseTheSnyderCut trended worldwide on November 17th for two-year anniversary of the film's theatrical release, and Warner Bros. or AT&T have yet to comment, but it would seem their ability to remain silent is slowly diminishing.
