Zach Galifianakis is one of today's most hilarious actors, and while he's just generally funny, he might also have some of the best punchlines in every comedy flick he's lent his talent to. He's not often the leading guy, but it's because all fans need are his side quips and jokes.
Everyone knows him from Due Date or The Hangover, but there's so much to be loved - and laughed at - when it comes to this quirky, unique, and hilarious actor. It's time to celebrate the best of his humor and look back at all those punchlines that had everyone laughing.
Magical Evil

There's countless hilarious punchlines from The Lego Batman Movie, and fans should have expected nothing less from Zach Galifianakis as Joker. This role is something that fans really just didn't expect, and also didn't know they totally needed it in their life.
Somehow, this movie actually makes for a pretty memorable Batman flick, and it's probably because there's literally nothing else quite like it.
The Iconic Satchel
"No, it's a satchel. Indiana Jones has one."
No one dresses up like the crew from The Hangover without a satchel, and it's pretty much just become a part of Zach Galifianakis' personality.
If this wasn't the best comeback to having been bullied for having a satchel, then there just isn't one.
True Friendship
"I'd rob a funeral home for you."
Galifianakis as David Ghantt in Masterminds definitely provided some pretty hilarious moments. With Kate McKinnon, Jason Sudeikis, and Owen Wilson, there are a ton of hilarious moments to be had in this flick. Of course, nothing quite sums it up like this declaration of love.
Just Push It
Cam Brady [seeing Marty trying to open the door]: "Push it."
Mitch: "Push it."
Marty Huggins: "Push it, push it real good?"
Part of Galifianakis' charm is that half the things he says just make no sense, and are totally random that it catches the audience off guard. This is certainly one of those, and it's hard not to laugh - even if this quote and The Campaign are totally ridiculous, and of course, also has Will Ferrell.
Keeping It Real
Tim: "You could tell me but then you would have to kill me?"
Jeff: "I would probably just get in trouble with corporate."
Keeping Up with the Joneses has the brilliant Zach Galifianakis as Jeff, alongside Isla Fisher, Jon Hamm, and Gal Gadot.
It's a crime comedy with a totally real twist - and Fisher and Galifianakis bring out the cheesy reality. Of course, this is one example that proves it's totally funny.
The Ring
Stu: "Oh my god! I can't believe I gave away my grandmother's Holocaust ring to a stranger!"
Alan: "I didn't even know they gave out rings during the Holocaust."
It's definitely not surprising that a lot of the funniest lines from this actor are from The Hangover, and that's especially true of the first movie. This one definitely borders on offensive, but Alan's innocence is probably what makes his character so memorable and hilarious.
The Wholesome Guy
"My name's Alan and I bought a giraffe! My life is perfect!"
If only everyone could have a perfect life like Alan, which he certainly thought he did in The Hangover 3, which is a series shockingly filled with zoo animals. His childlike behavior and outlook on life will probably never stop being funny - and this entire movie is still comedy gold.
All These Scars
Inga: "Where did you get all these scars?"
Luke: "Well, let's see. Skateboard... Truck accident... Fire hydrant."
Inga: "I bet each one has its own exciting story, no?"
Luke: "No, not really. I skateboarded off of a truck into a fire hydrant."
This is one that is just frankly worthy of a head shake, but it's also pretty hard not to laugh out loud at it.
Galifianakis is Luke, of course, starring alongside Victoria Silvstedt in Out Cold. This punchline is shocking, and that's what makes it absolutely phenomenal.
Tiger Facts
"Tigers love pepper. They hate cinnamon."
Obviously, Alan is smarter than everyone, because surely no one else knows this fact about tigers. The Hangover is home to a lot of hilarious quips from Galifianakis, and this one might just be one of the most memorable it has to offer. It's hard not to snicker, regardless of how crazy it seems.
If there's anything anyone remembers from this movie, it's probably that it randomly had a tiger, and that Zach Galifianakis as Alan was frankly too much to handle.
The Obvious Punchline
Peter Highman: "Why are your father’s ashes in a coffee can?"
Ethan Tremblay: "Because he’s dead, Peter."
Isn't it obvious? There's probably nothing more hilarious than Galifianakis reciting this line to the iconic Robert Downey Jr. in Due Date. This duo is almost as good as the trio from The Hangover, and this line totally proves it. There's something about this punchline that deserves the gold medal.
