Popular YouTube star Gabi DeMartino has been banned from OnlyFans. The “Champagne Dreams” singer shocked her fans on Tuesday by allegedly uploading a video of herself naked as a child. Gabi was immediately called out by the Internet for trying to peddle the debatable clip.
Most recognized for being Ariana Grande’s doppelganger, Gabriella Nelida DeMartino started her channel Fancy Vlogs By Gab in 2015, which now boasts 3.24 million subscribers. Over the years, Gabi, 25, became a YouTube phenomenon, and even made headlines for featuring in Ariana’s hit music video, “Thank U Next.” The Pennsylvania native Gabi has her own spin-off of the horror-comedy show Scream Queens, which is titled Blood Queens. She is now also making her critics scream in disgust, owing to the creepy OnlyFans video.
Upon being sent a notification from the YouTuber’s OnlyFans, asking them to pay $3 to unlock a video captioned, “Won’t put my panties on,” many obliged. However, the 35-second clip reportedly turned out to be a nude clip of Gabi as a little child of about three years old. She appeared to be pulling her dress up, as per Daily Mail. The backlash that the inappropriate video received prompted OnlyFans management to take immediate action by deactivating Gabi's page. A tweet by @beigenior blasts Gabi: “*tw/ sexual assault, pedophilia* Gabi Demartino posted a video on her Only Fans of herself as a toddler flashing the camera instructed by her father. She was charging $3 to view the video. This is child p*rnography, it is illegal to post and sell and buy.” It has received over 300 retweets. Another tweet by @pastel_belle says, “Gabi Demartino ("fancy vlogs by gab" on YT) just tried to SELL CP of her as a child on her onlyfans. Imagine exploiting nude images of yourself as a child for media clout. We are going to be talking about this today.”
The backlash finally left the Niki & Gabi Take Bahamas star with no option but to share an apology. While replying to a tweet by @spillseshYT saying, “Um @gabcake you better make a statement ASAP about this onlyfans sh*t …you better not be trolling with kid pics and thinking that’s OKAY,” Gabi wrote how the controversial video was apparently “a goofy throwback.” Gabi's tweet reads, “a childhood video of me on the phone sayin “Nani says put your panties back on” and jumping up and down laughing. ‘I’m sorry I didn’t think that one through. period. a home-video i love to share w my friends & i use my OF as a “finsta” [Fake Instagram] page where i share stuff as i would w friends.’” See her messages below:
Gabi further tried to explain how the clip was a family moment that she wanted to share with her personal OnlyFans Fancy Babies. She added that she was sorry that it “wasn’t thought out completely.” The influencer, who has over 4.4 million-plus followers on Instagram as well, wrote, “I apologize,” before adding, “The video is down now I am sorry again if this came out wrong.”
While Twitter users can now be seen asking if Gabi is going to get arrested for allegedly enabling pedophilia, Us has also reported Gabi’s engagement to her boyfriend of five years, Collin Vogt. Could it perhaps be an attempt by Gabi DeMartino to take the attention away from the OnlyFans disaster?
