Bryan Cranston is covering up his son’s crime in the first teaser for Your Honor, the upcoming Showtime limited series. Your Honor marks Cranston’s first regular television role since Breaking Bad ended in 2013, as the actor plays Michael Desiato. A respected judge, Desiato’s life is turned upside down when his son is involved in a hit-and-run accident. The series, which is adapted from the Israeli series Kvodo, promises to focus on lies, deception, and impossible choices.

SHOWTIME unveiled a teaser for Cranston's latest series, Your Honor. Although the short clip doesn’t reveal too much about the story, it shows how quickly Cranston’s character becomes ensnared in the mess of trying to cover up his own wrongdoings. For many fans, it will be reminiscent of Walter White’s initially understandable motivations eventually growing indefensible as Breaking Bad progressed. Consisting of ten parts, Your Honor is executive produced by the duo of Robert and Michelle King, as well as Peter Moffat who also serves as writer and showrunner. The Kings are best known for creating The Good Wife and working on its spinoff, The Good Fight. Moffat, for his part, worked on a number of British dramas focused on criminal justice. Their past experience will surely come into play for Your Honor, as the show looks to explore how murky the law can become when loved ones get entangled in crime.

Hunter Doohan, who previously appeared on Truth Be Told, plays Cranston’s son. The cast of Your Honor also includes Amy Landecker, Benjamin Flores, Carmen Ejogo, Hope Davis, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Keith Machekanyanga, Lamar Johnson, Lilli Kay, Margo Martindale, Michael Stuhlbarg, Sofia Black D’Elia, and Tony Curran. Your Honor does not currently have a premiere date.
