As the drama continues to unfold in the second season of HBO's hit series, Euphoria, fans are more and more aware of how different the characters are from each other. Whether a fan wants to be a character, be their best friend, or face-off with the Fezco versus Nate style, there are many different points of view going around the fan base.
Every fan has a character that they love and one that they can't stand. But, all of that is subjective to who is considering the character a friend or foe, and that distinction is best measured by the signs of the astrological charts and the varying personalities of the different zodiac signs.
Aries: Fezco
Aries are endless sources of energy and passion. They always want to be in motion toward their end goals. That sort of energy comes to a screeching halt with someone like Fezco. He talks slowly and acts slowly, both of which would drive an Aries crazy.
Aries would never have time for Fez to get to his point. They would have rattled off a million bizarre Reddit theories about the other characters before Fez finished asking how they slept the night before, and an Aries would be jumping out of their skin. Fez may have some of the biggest bestie potential, but not with an Aries.
Taurus: Jules
Taurus are fixed Earth signs. As fixed signs, they are lovers of stability and routine, all of which Jules consistently fights against. Taurus would be vehemently against abandoning their lives and running away on a train, and would not be fans of Jules running away from someone and their lives together. They'd probably try to tell Rue that Jules is bad for her.
Taurus are a lot like Rue: they want dependability and commitment. They want to cozy up on the couch and watch cringey rom-coms while making fancy hot cocoa on the stovetop. Tauruses want a level of groundedness that Jules neither wants nor can provide, and that would create problems between the two.
Gemini: Rue
Geminis are very outgoing and social people, and they would feel like they were dragging Rue along to activities that she didn't truly want to be at because she's an introvert. Rue's type of conversation is more simple; she likes to have a pure, unspoken bond with someone.
Geminis would be dying to have a million conversations with witty banter that Rue would simply not be interested in, and that would deeply frustrate a Gemini. In the end, they would just be too different to get along, and Geminis would think that Rue was weighing them down as a "stick in the mud."
Cancer: Nate Jacobs
Cancers are highly emotional and take everything very seriously, especially where loyalty is concerned. Cancers are protective of their friends and family and can be a little hot-headed, so when they saw all of the destruction and violence that Nate Jacobs caused, they would instantly be enemies.
Cancers also have very refined emotional intelligence that Nate is just unable to tap into. He very rarely cares about anyone's feelings but his own, and Cancers would think that that is a criminal offense. It would be hard for a Cancer to decide which of the Jacobs men is more of a villain.
Leo: Lexi
As much as Leos are known for their big-heartedness, they also love for the spotlight to be on them. That is, until someone in their friend group writes an entire play highlighting all of their mistakes. That would be a big betrayal for a Leo, who already struggles with accepting criticism.
It would also make a Leo's blood boil that they weren't involved in the play in some way--after all, if they're in on the joke, then it's not quite the same blow to their ego. Leos are known to blindly see the best in people, so they would never expect something like that to happen to them, especially from a friend.
Virgo: Cal Jacobs
Virgos are very paternal people. They love to take care of their friends and family like a loving parent--which is the exact opposite of how Cal Jacobs operates, and Virgos would despise him for it. He might be on a journey of self-discovery, but Virgos do all things with kindness and patience, and Cal never shows any--even to his family.
Reliability is something that Virgos greatly value. Cal was well within his rights to express himself, but he didn't have to abandon the people who were depending on him to do it. He may be one of Euphoria's most intelligent characters, but Virgos would be seething about how little thought he put into the whole thing.
Libra: Maddy Perez
Libras are all about being diplomatic and seeing every side of a situation before employing judgment, so they wouldn't be very big fans of Maddy's "punch first, ask questions later" mentality. The way Maddy operates with Aries-like reckless abandon is much too confrontational for a Libra.
Libras are also one of the most idealistic signs. They like to assume the best in people instead of looking for people to betray them. Maddy has the exact opposite mindset, and that would most definitely rub a Libra the wrong way.
Scorpio: Cassie Howard
Scorpios would despise Cassie Howard. If there's one thing that is a nightmare scenario for a Scorpio, it's someone they trusted and let into their inner circle betraying them by having an affair with someone they thought was their soulmate. Loyalty and trust is crucial to a Scorpio, and they cannot stand being deceived.
Like Maddy, a Scorpio would be planning "a grisly murder. One that shocks the nation," if they were in her shoes. And, as Nate observes, there is virtually nothing that either Nate or Cassie can do to gain back their trust once it's broken. Burned bridges are burned for good in a Scorpio's eyes.
Sagittarius: Marsha Jacobs
Sagittarians cannot stand to be held down or trapped in a situation that doesn't let them exercise their freedom. Although it wasn't Marsha's fault that she and Cal got pregnant in high school, Sagittarians are very observant and would have definitely noticed the suspicious look that Marsha gave Cal and Derek, making them question her intentions.
Besides that, Sags are compassionate and adventurous. They would be wildly confused by Marsha's distaste of and reason for disliking Maddy--especially her hypocritical statement about Maddy keeping Nate's baby. Sags are emotionally intelligent people, and they would be able to sense Marsha's BS from a mile away.
Capricorn: Elliot
Capricorns are the most ambitious sign of the zodiac, and Elliot shows basically no ambition about anything. He never talks about his future, and he enables Rue's bad behavior until it benefits him not to, which a Capricorn would have a strong dislike of. Capricorns are very result-oriented.
They believe that what you reap is what you sow, and they hate people like Elliot who try to play multiple angles of a scenario. They hold people to high standards and expect them to be as responsible as they are. As creatures of logic, none of Elliot's actions would make any sense to them.
Aquarius: Laurie
Aquarians' main goal in life to is help people and create a better future for people and the planet. They're visionaries and forward thinkers. Anyone who is facilitating drug addiction and committing nefarious crimes is an enemy to an Aquarius. Aquarians are like the vigilante heroes of the zodiac, and Laurie is an evil drug boss.
Aquarians can't stand to see people in pain, and Laurie deals out pain and threats of violence with so much nonchalance that it would make an Aquarius see red.
Pisces: Kat Hernandez
A Pisces would undoubtedly get their heart crushed by Kat Hernandez. Pisces are the babies of the zodiac signs and are some of the most emotional ones of the astrological chart. If Kat ever made up that she had a brain disorder in order to break things off with a Pisces, they would burst into tears in the middle of the restaurant.
Pisceans can be easily taken advantage of and lied to, and Kat seems to be doing a lot of lying, especially in season 2. In addition to being sensitive, Pisceans also need lots of validation in friendships and relationships, something that Kat simply doesn't provide.
