While the love triangle between Charles, Liza and Josh is definitely a juicy one, Younger focuses on the professional lives of the main characters almost as much as their love lives. Over the past six seasons, Liza has achieved a lot in the world of publishing, and now she's trying to figure out what will actually make her happy.

There are many fun TV series that Younger fans can check out, which is good news since the seventh season of Younger is going to be its final one. Before watching the last episodes, it's fun to think about what storylines should happen.

Liza Needs To Make Her Choice (And It Should Be Josh)

Liza is a sweet but imperfect person and many fans would agree that Josh is her one true love. While she has a lot in common with Charles, she shouldn't assume that she needs to marry him just because they're around the same age.

Fans were surprised when Charles proposed in the season 6 finale, but when the show comes back, Liza should definitely turn him down. It seems like Liza has started to realize that she still has feelings for Josh and that he's the one she should spend her life with. He doesn't care about the age difference and she shouldn't, either.

Kelsey Should Start Her Own Company

Kelsey came close to going off on her own, but she should start her own company in the season 7 premiere. This would allow for a lot of character growth and development, as Kelsey had trouble when she was put in the publisher role last season. Instead of stressing out all the time and shrinking into herself, Kelsey needs to learn to stand on her own two feet.

Kelsey knows enough about the business of publishing to be able to create her own company. It would be a lot of fun to see this journey, even if there are some road blocks along the way.

Diana Should Have More Fun

The focus might be on the Josh/Liza/Charles love triangle, but Diana  has had her fair share of romance, too.

Diana married Enzo in the season 6 finale, and now that she's a married woman with a thriving career, it would be good for this character to have some more fun. She could learn a new hobby and if it was something fresh and unexpected, even better. Fans haven't gotten to see a more light-hearted side of Diana as she's always so buttoned up.

Liza And Josh Should Move Into A New Apartment

Fans ship Liza and Josh, and if they decide to be together in the seventh season of the show, it would make sense for them to finally move in together.

This would be a huge step in their relationship and would also provide some drama, as Liza would feel guilty about moving out of her best friend Maggie's loft. There could definitely be a funny apartment-hunting scene where Josh is attracted to grungy, cool places and Liza wants a newer, more luxurious condo.

Kelsey Needs To Find Love

Kelsey always dresses in a fun, trendy way and she's a cheery, bright figure on the show.

Kelsey hasn't had luck in the romance department, unlike some of the other characters. Zane hasn't been very nice to her, and they have a strange competitive relationship, so not every fan ships them. Kelsey should meet a totally new person who challenges her and makes her happy.

Lauren Moves Away

Lauren is a fascinating character on Younger, always ready to give her opinion on whatever the other characters are going through.

A truly original thinker, Lauren's definitely meant for big things. While she's had her fun in New York City, it would be interesting to watch her move away in the series finale. She could get a fantastic opportunity working in PR in Paris or London, and she would be more than happy to live a new fabulous life abroad.

Liza Should Go Back To School Part-Time

Liza is a super smart person who gave up a lot when she became a wife and mother. She probably always figured that she would return to work eventually, but of course, once she tried, she found that no one loved the huge gap in her work history.

This season, it would be good for Liza if she went back to school on a part-time basis, maybe to take some English literature classes. Liza should do something that feels relaxing but also challenges her mind.

Maggie Should Have An Art Show

Younger is often compared to The Bold Type but this series treats the older characters as respectfully as they do the millennial ones.

Maggie is an incredible artist and this season, she needs to have her own art show. Viewers have seen glimpses of her work over the episodes, but that's not enough. Maggie needs to have her time to shine, especially since her career has been pretty up and down lately.

Caitlin Needs To Find Herself

Liza's daughter Caitlin was studying abroad, but when she got homesick, she came back and slowly started to realize that her mom has been living a very different life than she thought.

In the final season of Younger, Caitlin needs to find herself. She could change majors or schools or leave school altogether and start a fun, creative new career. Whatever she decides, it feels like time for this character to have a bit of direction.

Everyone Should Return To Millennial

The Younger characters are so wonderful because they interact with each other in a professional setting. It makes for some very entertaining — and very funny — moments.

It would be fun to watch Kelsey start her own business, but by the end of the series, everyone needs to return to their home: Millennial. The characters are a family and they all need to work together. That's when the publishing magic happens as they all bring something unique to the table, and the final scene of the series could be the characters having a fun and spirited meeting at the office.
