Will Sheldon Still Return To Texas In Young Sheldon Season 7?

Details for the Young Sheldon season 6 finale have long confirmed that Sheldon's Germany trip will push through. The question now is whether he will still return to Texas after his stint abroad. Young Sheldon season 7 is already confirmed, which means that CBS has at least one more year left with the Coopers. But with the prequel shifting some of its focus on Missy and Georgie, it's unknown where Sheldon will fit into that plan if the network goes that route.

For now, the focus of Young Sheldon is to properly set up the special one-hour season 6 send-off. While its primary narrative will be about Sheldon and Mary's Germany trip, other members of the Cooper family will also be focused on. Mandy and Georgie, particularly, will have an interesting plot, as they go on their first vacation together. It's curious, however, if there will be any kind of hint about Georgie's cheating scandal.

In the last few years, Young Sheldon has started to diversify its storytelling by giving the rest of Sheldon's family their own respective arcs. After he inevitably moves to Pasadena for his post-grad studies at Caltech, CBS could continue to take advantage of the show's popularity by making it a true ensemble.
