This leads him to go to great lengths to avoid the germs of his friends, often in comical and entertaining ways. Episode 13 of season 1 saw the return of this quality, and once again demonstrated the lengths that Sheldon would go to to avoid illness. Sheldon winds up in detention after leaving the classroom without permission, all because his teacher sneezed on him.

Unfortunately for Sheldon, and George Sr.'s wallet, Sheldon was unable to fix the refrigerator, or get it back together. He has to pick up a paper route to pay his dad back for the cost of repairs. This episode taught Sheldon some important lessons and gave audiences a laugh while he learned them.

A Computer, A Plastic Pony, And A Case Of Beer (Season 1, Episode 12)

In this episode, Sheldon asks for a computer while browsing with his mother at Radio Shack. At first, Mary disregarded the request, but it sparked a conversation between Mary and George about their financial situation. Meemaw offered to buy the computer for Sheldon, but George became determined to take care of his family himself.

Not only was the appearance of Radio Shack nostalgic for many viewers, but the discussion about money, as well as Sheldon's desperation for his own computer, was extremely relatable to anyone who had ever been in the position of either Sheldon or his parents.

Poker, Faith, And Eggs (Season 1, Episode 3)

This episode showed audiences the great relationship between two of their favorite characters: Sheldon and Meemaw. Any time that Meemaw would come to visit, the two would play poker together, demonstrating their odd but very endearing relationship in Young Sheldon.

This episode was also the first instance in which Missy became aware of the neighbor Billy's crush on her. He had only ever demonstrated acts of aggression before this, but he finished the episode by bringing her a basket of eggs.

Freshman Orientation And The Inventor Of The Zipper (Season 4, Episode 6)

Season 4 of Young Sheldon saw Sheldon's first year in college, and Episode 6 was when he attended his freshman orientation. Mary is forced to give Sheldon some space to attend this event on his own, but it, unfortunately, doesn't go well, showing that while Sheldon is a genius college student, he is also still a child.

This episode contained this big moment for Sheldon but also saw a comical revelation for Billy. When he learned that Missy's name was actually Melissa, Missy points out that his full name is William, a concept he just couldn't understand. It was an unforgettably funny moment in Young Sheldon and contributed to this episode's popularity.

Cape Canaveral, Schrodinger's Cat, And Cyndi Lauper's Hair (Season 1, Episode 8)

This episode saw the boys and girls of the Cooper family divide. In an effort to spend more time with his sons, George took Georgie and Sheldon on a road trip to Florida to watch a space shuttle launch, and Mary, Missy, and Meemaw had a spa day.

The result of both adventures was some heartwarming moments. The shuttle launch ended up canceled, so to cheer up his son, George pretended to not know how lightning and thunder worked and asked Sheldon to explain. At the salon, Meemaw calls Mary "no fun," but the two end up making amends and grow closer as a result.

An 8-Bit Princess And A Flat Tire Genius (Season 2, Episode 8)

It's no question why this episode is a favorite amongst fans. Meemaw and Sheldon's relationship has always been an audience favorite, and watching the grandma becoming addicted to Sheldon's video game was extremely sweet, and also contributed to some of the most hilarious quotes from Young Sheldon.

The episode also includes a moment in Sheldon's dream where he and his Meemaw are 8-bit video game characters, which allows him to solve a puzzle in the game in his sleep. This moment was fun and unforgettable, and even better when it was followed up by Sheldon calling his Meemaw in the middle of the night to tell her the good news.

A Brisket, Voodoo, And Cannonball Run (Season 1, Episode 7)

Meemaw makes it clear in this episode that she has little respect for George as a son-in-law. When George confesses that he is desperate to get Meemaw's brisket recipe, she gives him a fake one, full of hard-to-find ingredients and complicated instructions.

Graduation (Season 4, Episode 1)

Audiences have been fascinated by Sheldon and Missy's relationship since her character was first revealed in The Big Bang Theory. The two are very different, but Missy understands Sheldon in a way that only a twin could.

Episode 1 of season 4 leads up to Sheldon's graduation from high school, and Missy's graduation from elementary school. Sheldon ends up having a breakdown, worrying about what the future holds for him and whether he is ready. To the audience's surprise, the only person that was able to calm him down was Missy. As a result, Sheldon dedicates his valedictorian's speech to her in a moment that had viewers welling up with tears.
