Netflix has shared a series of ominous new posters ahead of their YOU season 3 premiere next month. Developed by Arrowverse mastermind, Greg Berlanti, and Supernatural and The Magicians showrunner, Sera Gamble, the show’s first season was based on the novel by Coraline Kepnes. Originally aired on the Lifetime network, Netflix picked the series up back in 2018 for an exclusive release of the second season and renewed the show for a third season in 2020.

A twisted psychological thriller that follows the obsessive Joe Goldberg (played by Penn Badgley), the show’s second season saw Joe attempt to leave his past in New York behind by assuming a whole new identity and moving to Los Angeles. However, when Joe met Love Quinn (played by Haunting of Hill House’s Victoria Pedretti) he quickly found himself falling back into old, and potentially deadly, patterns of behavior. In a surprise twist, however, it was revealed that Joe’s latest romantic interest was just as toxic and dangerous as himself.

With YOU season 3 set to hit Netflix on October 15, the streamer is ramping up promotions and has released a trio of striking new posters. The posters, released via the official Netflix Twitter account, each tease different aspects of Joe and Love’s married life in the Californian suburb of Madre Linda with their newborn son. Transforming the everyday into the macabre, these latest images give fans a good idea of what to expect from the new season. Check out the posters below:

Fans are certain to assume that Joe and Love’s married life will prove to be anything but peaceful, and these new images certainly hint toward the murder and mayhem set to follow. The season 2 finale teased Joe’s new obsession with his next-door neighbor, and in a recently released trailer, audiences were finally introduced to Joe’s latest object of desire, Natalie (played by One Tree Hill’s Michaela McManus). In a distinct turning of the tables, however, Pedretti’s Love will certainly make sure that Joe’s wandering eye does not disrupt her dreams of suburban bliss.

Once YOU moved across to Netflix, the series quickly developed a cult following, and both Badgley and Pedretti have been showered with praise for their performances. There is no doubt these latest posters will only serve to fuel anticipation for the new season, and the deranged antics perpetrated by its two leading characters. YOU season 3 is set to hit Netflix this October 15 and is sure to offer fans plenty of nightmare fodder.
