Netflix’s You season 3 opens a new chapter in the lives of its returning and new cast and characters. Adapted from Caroline Kepnes’ book series of the same name, You is a psychological thriller series following Joe Goldberg as he falls obsessively in love — to the extent of stalking and killing anyone who gets in the way. In 2018, the show premiered on Lifetime before moving to Netflix as a Netflix Original title starting with season 2. Now, ahead of its season 3 premiere, You has been already renewed for a fourth season.
After developing an extreme infatuation with Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail), Joe moves from New York to Los Angeles, attempting to escape his history and start over. This is where he meets Love Quinn, but, unfortunately, just as he was falling in love again, Joe started obsessing again and reverting to his violent tendencies. Nevertheless, Joe succeeds in establishing a relationship with Love, amidst all obstacles.
You season 2 ends with the revelation that Love is pregnant. As a result, Joe decides to continue their relationship, despite him discovering Love’s true motives. While waiting for their child, the couple settles into a new neighborhood. Here, Joe meets a new female neighbor who piques his interest — and, possibly, his toxic and obsessive patterns. You season 3 will then show what Joe is willing to risk this time and how Love will ensure that her family will not be taken away from her. Penn Badgley as Joe Goldberg: Penn Badgley reprises his role as Joe Goldberg, an intelligent, charming stalker and serial killer who now lives with his wife, Love, in a new suburban home. Badgley is most recognized for his role as Dan Humphrey on Gossip Girl.
Victoria Pedretti as Love Quinn: Love Quinn is a Los Angeles-based chef and health guru who got involved with and eventually, married Joe. Pedretti is best known for her work in the Netflix horror series The Haunting of Hill House and its follow-up The Haunting of Bly Manor.
Saffron Burrows as Dottie Quinn: After losing his son Forty, Dottie Quinn becomes the grieving mother. Burrows’ recent roles include Cynthia Taylor in Mozart in the Jungle and Victoria Hand in Agents of SHIELD.

Michaela McManus as Natalie Engler: Natalie is Joe's next-door neighbor, who is hinted at to be his new obsession. McManus’ acting credits include Aquarius, SEAL Team, and The Village.
Scott Speedman as Matthew Engler: Matthew Engler is Natalie’s husband, who is also a successful CEO. Speedman also appears in Grey’s Anatomy as Dr. Nick Marsh.
Dylan Arnold as Theo Engler: Natalie’s son, Theo, is a college student who struggles with his relationship with Matthew and his addiction issues. Arnold is recently seen in Into The Dark, After We Collided, and Trish & Scott.
Shalita Grant as Sherry Conrad: One of Joe and Love’s new friends, Sherry is a local influencer, who has a well-admired, curated persona. Grant is most notable for her work as Sonja Percy in the NCIS series and Agent Tess Rogers in Santa Clarita Diet.
Travis Van Winkle as Cary Conrad: Cary is Sherry’s husband, who has a self-founded supplement company. Aside from You, Van Winkle also starred in The Last Ship and Instinct.
Tati Gabrielle as Marienne: A local librarian, Marienne tries to deal with problems concerning herself and her child. Gabrielle is most recognizable as Gaia in The 100 and Prudence Night in the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
Ben Mehl as Dante: Now working as a librarian, Dante is a former war veteran who tries to expand his family with his husband. Mehl played Wood Hochstadter in The Good Wife and Rick Bravos in Viral Beauty.
Shannon Chan-Kent as Kiki: A life coach and Sherry’s friend, Kiki is portrayed by Chan-Kent, who lent her voice in animated shows like My Little Pony: Pony Life and Corner Gas Animated.
Christopher Sean as Brandon: Sean plays Brandon, Kiki's husband and stay-at-home dad. He also provides voices for video games and was a part of Star Wars Resistance as Kazuda Xiono.
Chris O'Shea as Andrew: O’Shea gives life to Andrew, who is also a part of Sherry’s circle. He is known for the shows Baby Daddy and Madam Secretary.
Bryan Safi as Jackson: Andrew is married to Jackson, portrayed by Safi, who was also Josh Russo in 9-1-1.
Mackenzie Astin as Gil: Astin is You season 3’s friendly and caring professor, Gil. He was seen in Scandal and The Magicians.
Ayelet Zurer as Dr. Chandra: Dr. Chandra is the show’s resident couple’s therapist. She is portrayed by Zurer, who also starred in the Netflix superhero series Daredevil.
Scott Michael Foster as Ryan: Ryan is a well-respected television reporter who also battled addiction. He is played by Foster, also known as Nathaniel in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
