Yolanda Hadid is opening up about why she has no intention of ever returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Yolanda exited RHOBH in season 6 after three years as a regular cast member. She was having health struggles when she decided to throw in the towel. But she was involved in her fair share of dramatic spats with members of the cast that also impacted her decision to leave.

Years after her exit, Yolanda is opening up about why she decided to leave the show. "The first season I went on, I was diagnosed with neurological Lyme disease, and I struggled every day of the season," she told Entertainment Tonight. Yolanda said because of her health, she was "never [working] with a full set of brains on the show." Yolanda's battle with Lyme disease spilled into the show and was even the topic of discussion among the cast at times. The alum notes "hurtful" comments some cast members made questioning whether she actually had the disease. "Not just hurtful to me, but hurtful to my children and my family who loves me," Yolanda explained. The experience put such a bad "taste" in Yolanda's mouth that when asked if she would return to the franchise, she said she "wouldn't."

Yolanda Hadid Is Too "Sensitive" for RHOBH

According to the mother of three and former supermodel, Yolanda is at a place in her life where she has no time for drama. "I'm too sensitive," she admitted. "I couldn't deal with that back and forth between women. It's not my communication style or something that's good for my life." Yolanda joined the show in season 3, which aired from November 2012 to April 2013. She left after three seasons in 2016. The show only got more dramatic following her exit, as did private affairs in Yolanda's life. She and David Foster divorced in 2017 and chose to refrain from speaking on the cause of their split.

Last year, Yolanda filled the press due to her physical altercation with Gigi Hadid's ex-boyfriend and co-parenting partner Zayn Malik. Yolanda pressed charges against Zayn that led to him receiving probation. The former One Direction singer was accused of pushing Yolanda after she entered his home while Gigi was out of town. The dramatic encounter has only been shared through media reports, but fans wished Yolanda was still on the show, so cameras could've helped tell what really went down.

She recently came under fire on TikTok by creators who blasted her old scenes on the show where she promoted restrictive diets to her then-teenage daughter Gigi, like eating almonds instead of a full meal. Yolanda responded to the shade by posting a sarcastic video showing her eating a giant bowl of almonds. Her latest comments show Yolanda's changed perspective about appearing on reality television. After three seasons on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Yolanda is adamant she will never return.
