Warning! Spoiler for Infinite Frontier #4 by DC Comics below

DC Comics just revealed a new Injustice team that features the Joker as the newest Yellow Lantern. In a shocking twist in this week's Infinite Frontier, Machinehead just betrayed the Justice Incarnate team, revealing he's actually hoping to close the Multiverse and has assembled his own team across the Multiverse who want the same. The new Injustice team is chalked full of some of DC's most frightening villains.

Following the events of Dark Nights: Death Metal, the entire world learned of the vastness of the Multiverse and the numerous heroes and villains that come from the different Earths. In response to the new Omniverse, the greatest heroes from across the Multiverse formed the Justice Incarnate - which consists of President Superman, Aquawoman, Captain Carrot, Mary Marvel, and the Flash among its members. However, the team just found out their mission to protect the Multiverse is being buoyed by one of their closest allies: Earth-8's Machinehead.

Infinite Frontier #4 by Joshua Williamson, Paul Pelletier, Jesus Merino, Xermanico, Norm Rapmund, Raul Fernandez, Hi-Fi, and Tom Napolitano reveals that Mister Bones made some sort of mysterious deal to protect Earth-0 from the threats across the Multiverse. Meanwhile, the remaining members of the Justice Society of America tell Roy Harper that Bones' top agent, X-Tract, teleported them to the bleed, the space between the Multiverse and that they would've been lost without his ship picking them up. As they arrive on Earth-Omega, the ships carrying the JSA and Doctor Bones' crew collides - leaving an alert for the Justice Incarnate. However, after Harbinger erases the alarm and denies Superman's request for information, Machinehead turns on his team and reveals the new Injustice squad - including a Yellow Lantern Joker.

Machinehead stands before a Yellow Lantern Joker, Fate, Magog, Dr. Sivana, Lady Quark, and Superwoman and tells the Justice Incarnate he assembled the team to keep the Multiverse separate for good. It's quite the group of villains with the most notable being the Yellow Lantern. The Joker definitely fits in with the group, as he instills fear in his enemies. If he had a Power Ring, it would likely be yellow. Did he become the Sinestro of his own world? And if so, how did that happen?

The new Injustice team is undoubtedly bad news for the entire Omniverse. Machinehead seems to have assembled a roster with the opposite goal of the Justice Incarnate. If the group is built to counter the superteam, protecting the Multiverse just got a bit more complicated. Especially, if the Yellow Lantern Joker is even more menacing than the original version from Earth-0. Infinite Frontier #4 is in comic book stores now.
