Even if players manage to beat the finale, there’s still more they can get out of the game. The Yakuza series has a lot for players to do, from side stories and alley fights to rhythm games and shogi. Here’s a look at what players can do once they finish Yakuza 5 Remastered if they’re looking for more time with the game.

What to Do After Yakuza 5's Finale

Start a Premium Adventure

  • Those who are able to beat Yakuza 5’s finale will unlock premium adventure mode. This special game mode will allow players to play as all five main characters from the get-go, start the game with a number of other features unlocked, and participate in a new side quest called Haruka’s Whims, which is exclusive to this game mode. Keep in mind though that it is impossible to carry over progress into the premium adventure mode, so players will have to leave behind their best weapons and items if they want to embark on this new experience.

Beat the Game on EX-Hard

  • Most games have difficulty settings that influence the power levels of enemies and obstacles, and Yakuza is no exception. To become a true Yakuza champion, master the game’s mechanics to complete it on EX-Hard, the highest difficulty setting. This punishing challenge, which prevents players from retrying battles, can only be unlocked after defeating the game on the Hard difficulty setting.

100% the Game

  • Much like other games, Yakuza 5 keeps track of how much progress players have made as a percentage. To truly master this game, players should try to earn a 100% of it. This includes winning all the minigames, finishing all of the substories for each character, completing all the city quests, raising each hostess club to S Rank, and more! There’s a lot to do for a perfect save file, so it will keep players occupied for a long time.

Collect Every Weapon

  • In a similar vein to 100%ing the game, here’s another completionist challenge. The Yakuza series has a plethora of weapons to fight with, from swords and knives to firearms and nunchakus'. Each player might have their favorite to use, but building up a collection of every single one is deserving of some bragging rights.
