Accordingly, Trainers will need at least three Raid parties to take down this opponent. Furthermore, it is crucial to understand its resistances and weaknesses to ensure a smooth victory when its debut arrives.
Xerneas is a Fairy-type Pokémon, causing it to be resistant to Fighting-, Bug-, Dark-, and Dragon-type Moves. Conversely, Pokémon GO Trainers can deal effective damage against this Raid Boss if they utilize pocket monsters with Poison- or Steel-type Movesets. The best candidates with these elemental types would be powerful Shadow and Mega variants like Shadow Metagross, Mega Gengar, and Mega Beedrill.
