Microsoft's new flagship console, the Xbox Series X, is set to release on November 10th, 2020. Pre-orders for the next-gen console have already sold out, with some retailers receiving restocks recently. Whether players have purchased one already, or are just curious about what's included, here's everything they can expect to find inside the box when the Xbox Series X launches.

Anticipation has been high for the Xbox Series X. Pre-orders for Microsoft's new console went up last week, and it quickly sold out at retailers. Microsoft's next-gen platform is a little over a month away from launching, and the company has already shared what to expect inside the packaging when the Xbox Series X finally arrives.

Obviously, the console will be in the box, as well as a AC power cable, but some people may still be wondering about the Xbox Series X's specs. The Xbox Series X has an eight-core 3.8GHz (3.6GHz with SMT) custom AMD 7nm CPU. It has 12 teraflops of GPU, which can run at up to 120 frames per second. This means it has twice the power of the Xbox One X. The Series X will run 4K resolution natively, but it also supports up to 8K; however, some games won't support that high of a resolution.

In addition to the console itself, a Wireless Xbox Controller also ships inside the box. The Xbox Series X is launching with three different controller designs, but the one that ships in the box will be the default carbon black controller that matches the Xbox Series X. For people who want a different color controller, or who need simply an extra, Wireless Xbox controllers can be purchased separately for $59.99, and are already available at most online retailers.

The third and final item included inside the box with the Xbox Series X is an Ultra High Speed HDMI cable. The cable comes with enough bandwidth to properly display HDR content, which is how the console will run in 4K and even 8K resolution. For anyone with a TV or display that supports HDMI 2.1 outputs, that means taking advantage of better picture quality, higher frame rates, and VRR (variable refresh rate).

So far, this is all that Microsoft has announced on their website as being included in the box with the Xbox Series X. The console is priced at $499.99 and is set to release on November 10th, 2020. However, an All Access version is also available, which is priced at $34.99 a month at 0% APR for 24 months. This All Access version also includes 24 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
