A recent leak hints at some of Xbox's planned reveals for E3 next month, including new looks at Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5. After being canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the blockbuster Electronic Entertainment Expo event will return this summer, albeit in the digital-only livestream format that ruled the industry in 2020.

Already, several of the big publishers have announced their presence at this year’s E3, including Ubisoft, Sega, Bandai Namco, and major console companies Nintendo and Microsoft. Not everyone will attend, however; PlayStation 5 creator Sony has decided to forgo the festivities for the third year in a row, and the long-troubled Konami withdrew from E3 after initially saying that it would be there. Regardless, the companies that are coming to E3 have some big reveals in store for players, and details on what to expect at the show are slowly but surely starting to emerge.

As reported by Comicbook.com, reliable Xbox insider Klobrille recently hinted at some of the games Microsoft will be featuring during E3 on the Microsoft/Bethesda Resetera forum. The four games listed in this leak are Halo: Infinite, Ages of Empires IV, Forza Horizon 5, and long-brewing new Bethesda property Starfield. So far, nothing official is confirmed, but it's worth noting that Klobrille has correctly predicted things like Xbox Gold being made free in 2020.

E3 Halo Infinite Age of Empires Starfield

Halo Infinite was initially primed to be a flagship launch title for the Xbox Series X when the console was released last November, but the game was ultimately delayed due to its poor reception at July's Xbox Games Showcase livestream, as well as several shakeups at 343 Industries. Meanwhile, Ages of Empires IV was announced way back in 2017 and has received a slow and steady stream of new information since. Forza Horizon 5 has yet to formally be announced by developer Playground Games, but plenty of rumors regarding its release and setting have crawled out of the woodwork since Forza Horizon 4 was released in 2018. Finally, the space-based RPG Starfield has been in a state of flux since its first formal announcement in 2017, but fans have speculated that the game will likely stick true to Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls/Fallout formula.

Other possible reveals and showings at Xbox’s E3 panel include Stalker 2, The Gunk, and Hellblade 2, though it's worth pointing out that absolutely nothing has been officially confirmed yet. Viewers will see for themselves when E3 makes its triumphant return from June 12 to June 15, 2021.
