Microsoft has revealed the next collection of games headed to Xbox Game Pass, with September 2021's offerings including fantasy RPG Final Fantasy 13 and physics-based surgery sim sequel, Surgeon Simulator 2. The hits were announced alongside a host of other exciting new Xbox Game Pass additions, all of which are coming throughout the month.

Xbox Game Pass is considered to be one of the best deals in gaming, allowing Xbox console owners and PC players access to a wide range of games, including indie classics and AAA adventures. Xbox Game Pass consistently adds new titles while removing others, allowing for a carousel of video game experiences for a monthly or annual fee. The subscription service includes support for mobile devices via the cloud, meaning players can dive into great games through their iOS or Android devices with Xbox Game Pass.

Narrative card game Signs of the Sojourner is also on the list, along with roguelike RPG adventure Crown Trick, survival game Breathedge, post-apocalyptic roguelike Nuclear Throne, and psychedelic platformer journey, The Artful Escape. The release dates for the Xbox Game Pass games are as follows:

September's Xbox Game Pass releases should please lots of players thanks to their diverse range of genres. Surgeon Simulator 2's community-made levels, sandbox level building tool, and multiplayer madness for up to four should make the wacky physics sim a hit among friends, while Final Fantasy 13's immersive story can provide up to a hundred hours of solo RPG action. Craftopia promises limitless playability, with features including farming, hunting, hack-and-slash combat, and building to keep players occupied as they explore its beautiful world. The roguelike gameplay of Nuclear Throne and Crown Trick should provide challenges for skilled gamers, while Signs of the Sojourner's unique art style is a breath of fresh air.

Xbox Game Pass continues to grow from strength to strength, and a host of new Xbox releases will be coming to the subscription service from day one. Later this year, fans will be able to access the highly-anticipated Forza Horizon 5 via the service when it releases on November 5, while future titles including Redfall, The Outer Worlds 2, and Bethesda RPG Starfield will also be Xbox Game Pass day one releases.
