Christmas may not be coming early, but it'll definitely feel like it, with Xbox offering Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions for up to 40% off, and up to 60% off of select titles, over a week ahead of Black Friday. Quarantined gamers, rejoice!

Xbox's Game Pass was launched in June 2017, and offers its subscribers access to a vast library of Xbox titles, available depending on subscription for PC, console, and Android devices via cloud streaming. The service is divided into two subscription levels, with the standard subscription priced at $9.99 per month for PC and console, and the Ultimate at $14.99 per month, which includes cloud streaming on Android mobile devices, and other Ultimate Perks including EA Play and free trials of Disney+. Both subscriptions are purchased by the month, so that they last for as long or as short as a player likes.

For players who decided to buy three months or more of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Microsoft is bringing Black Friday savings in a little earlier than usual, according to an announcement on Xbox Wire. Between tomorrow and November 30, players will save 40% on three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate when they purchase three months or more. With EA Play already available with the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, for less than ten bucks a month, players can put their Xbox Series X/S's to the test with major EA titles like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Titanfall 2, and FIFA 20, among others, in addition to Game Pass's already-extensive library. The Ultimate subscription also means that in addition to PC and console, players can access these titles on their Android mobile devices via cloud streaming for truly mobile gaming.

With the new console smell of the Xbox Series X/S still lingering in the air, now is a great time to build up game libraries, and Microsoft is extending its early Black Friday deals to select digital titles at 55% off, including Marvel`s AvengersForza Horizon 4, Far Cry 5, Watch Dogs: Legion, FIFA 21, and NBA 2K21. PC gamers can also take 60% off of select PC titles Forza Horizon 4 Standard Edition, Gears 5, and Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition. The discount is already in effect, and will continue on past Black Friday to December 3.

The COVID-19 pandemic may be bringing a bit of a damper on the holiday season this year, but Xbox is making it easier and more affordable to stay entertained in the meantime. While the Xbox Series X/S consoles are not part of the Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal, gamers and gifters can still pick up great deals on titles, controllers, and accessories to help keep spirits high.
