The latest batch of new Xbox Game Pass titles has just been confirmed for the second half of June and the beginning of July, including Far Cry 5 and Naraka: Bladepoint among other popular options. Ever since it first launched back in 2017, Xbox Game Pass has built up a massive library of triple-A blockbusters and smaller indie gems subscribers can access on PC and Xbox consoles. Xbox Game Pass also allows players to enjoy titles like Fortnite on their mobile phones thanks to its compatibility with Xbox Cloud Gaming, and streaming services like Crunchyroll and Disney Plus have offered special bundles as well.

While Sony is busy building up its own answer to Xbox Game Pass by relaunching its existing PlayStation Plus service with a new tier system and classic PS games, Microsoft continues to bolster its collection of available Xbox Game Pass titles with new entries. Earlier this month, the Egypt-centric Assassin’s Creed: Origins and the historical PC action game For Honor: Marching Fire Edition headlined the previous round of new Xbox Game Pass titles alongside Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection and the Day One access title Spacelines from the Far Out.

Xbox Game Pass is continuing its wave of solid new additions well into July, as announced by Xbox through a post on the official Xbox Game Pass Twitter account. The upcoming list of new Xbox Game Pass titles will launch throughout the next few weeks, including options like FIFA 22 and Naraka: Bladepoint, which will be available for PC and Xbox consoles on June 23, and Far Cry 5 coming on PC and consoles on July 1. The three-part Shadowrun Trilogy and Total War: Three Kingdoms are available now, and Xbox Game Pass is also offering up free DLC for previously available titles like Golf With Your Friends and Jurassic World Evolution 2. Additionally, Microsoft is offering new subscribers the next three months of Xbox Game Pass for 1 USD if they sign up by June 30. The full list of new Xbox Game Pass titles for the rest of June can be seen below:

  • Shadowrun Trilogy (Cloud and PC) - Today
  • Total War: Three Kingdoms (PC) - Today
  • FIFA 22 (Console and PC) EA Play - June 23
  • Naraka: Bladepoint (Cloud, Console, and PC) - June 23
  • Far Cry 5 (Cloud, Console, and PC) - July 1

As usual, the newest line-up of Xbox Game Pass additions offers up a decent variety of gameplay genres. 2018’s Far Cry 5 is a dark FPS that tasks players with overthrowing a sinister cult leader in a fictional region of Montana. Players can use the game’s built-in Level Editor to recreate famous locations like Link’s treehouse from Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time and the Kwik-E-Mart from The Simpsons. In contrast, Naraka: Bladepoint is a multiplayer battle-royale title that puts the focus on melee combat. And for those who enjoy strategy, Total War: Three Kingdoms is a turn-based tactical experience that has players control one of twelve different armies on a mission to conquer China during the titular Three Kingdoms era of 220-280 AD.

Several more games were also announced for Xbox Game Pass during last week’s Summer Game Fest Xbox Games Showcase, from new titles that will be available on the service at launch like Hollow Knight: Silksong and A Plague Tale: Requiem to long-awaited mainline Persona games. This is a solid indication that Xbox Game Pass’ growing popularity won’t be slowing down anytime soon, and that more popular titles are likely to come in the future.
