Leading into the beginning of the holiday season, Xbox Game Pass is bringing a variety of new titles to its lineup for November 2022. While Halloween may be over, there are still several spookier variety games being included. Everything from zombies and vampires to football and monkeys will soon be available on the video game subscription service. However, there are a few popular games that will be leaving as well, which players should hurry and enjoy before it's too late.

Microsoft recently unveiled new Xbox Game Pass subscription tiers which can allow family members to all enjoy the service under one subscription. The new games being added in November may apply well to this format as variety seems to be the overarching theme for the list of titles arriving, appealing to many different players. Games such as Vampire Survivors, Football Manager 2023, and Return to Monkey Island offer a little for everyone.

Games Available On Xbox Game Pass November 1

Microsoft is starting off the month with three games available right away on the first of the month. Side-scrolling action game, The Legend of Tianding, allows players to kung fu fight their way through the streets of Taipei. Players get to become a Taiwanese Robin Hood while playing as the legendary outlaw and folk hero Liao Tianding. The game is based on real events and actual people from the early 20th century.

Also arriving on November 1 are two iterations of The Walking Dead. The Walking Dead: A New Frontier - The Complete Season and The Walking Dead: Michonne - The Complete Season are both based on the best-selling comic books, developed by Telltale Games, and are both available on the PC.

Halloween Continues With Game Pass Vampires and Ghosts

While Vampire Survivors was released to PC in October, on November 10 it will finally be available on Xbox consoles, to the delight of many anxious console owners. The gothic-horror roguelike has already received many positive reviews and fans are eagerly awaiting its console debut.

Ghost Song, arriving on November 3, is another new release that is going to be on Xbox Game Pass the day it launches. This Metroidvania-style game focuses heavily on the atmosphere as players experience isolation and mysteries while facing cosmic terror in an alien world.

Other Exciting Additions To The Xbox Game Pass Lineup

There are so many other games for players to look forward to this month on Xbox Game Pass as well. The future of the sports game genre, Football Manager 2023 arrives just as Football Manager 2022 is departing on November 8. Return to Monkey Island shows up on November 8 to continue the point-and-click adventure of the Monkey Island series. Somerville and Pentiment both are coming on November 15 to offer narrative adventures in strikingly different settings. Somerville will delight fans of sci-fi apocalyptic alien invasions, while Pentiment hits a different audience with a historical mystery adventure.

DLCs And Updates On Game Pass Titles

Alongside the new games launching, several games already available will be receiving game updates and DLC on Xbox Game Pass during the month of November.

• Sniper Elite 5 DLC is available now. The Up Close & Personal weapon and skin pack will be 10% off for Game Pass members and everyone will receive the new multiplayer map, Kraken's Lair, for free.
• Sea of Thieves - "Return of the Damned" is a limited-time adventure taking place November 3-17.
• Halo Infinite will release its winter update on November 8, offering new multiplayer content, two themed events, a new mode, and a free 30-tier Battle Pass.
• Microsoft Flight Simulator 40th Anniversary Edition will be available to Game Pass members at no additional cost beginning November 11.

Every Game Leaving Xbox Game Pass In November 2022

Unfortunately, as new games arrive, others must make their departure from the Xbox Game Pass library. These will be disappearing in two batches, with Football Manager 2022 on November 8 and then five other games on November 15. Football Manager is shifting to its 2023 release, and so it is simply replacing the old version with the latest edition, others such as Art of Rally and One Step From Eden are actually going away. Players will want to hurry to take advantage of these games before they are removed from the service in the middle of November.

Although it is sad to see the older games such as Art of Rally and Supraland removed from the Xbox Game Pass library, the incoming titles are thrilling, particularly the new releases. Players have until November 8 and 15 to hurry and enjoy the outgoing games. Of course, players will also want to experience the new games arriving on Xbox Game Pass in November, while eagerly anticipating what holiday titles will come next.
