Judgement Day has been a ship with no sail since (sort of) debuting at WrestleMania 38, but Finn Balor has an idea that could save the faction from becoming irrelevant in WWE. The group was originally Edge's brainchild, but when Vince McMahon wanted to move the stable in a more supernatural direction, the Rated R Superstar took a hard pass. Balor replaced him as the leader of Judgement Day, which was a compelling swerve that led nowhere fast.

The group has been locked in a seemingly endless feud with the Mysterios, the whole program boiling down to Rey and Dominik being unwilling to strike Rhea Ripley. A match involving Edge and Beth Phoenix seems to be on the horizon and could happen at the upcoming Clash At The Castle premium live event. That ought to be the end of this storyline for Judgement Day, and Balor, Ripley, and Damian Priest will need someone else to set their sights on in the coming weeks. WWE fans might have been given a quick peak behind the curtain through recent comments made by Balor.

The most exciting aspect of Judgement Day, at least early on, was the idea that anyone could join at any given time. It was heavily implied that WWE's roster had been infested with a handful of sleeper agents, waiting for the right time to strike. That never came to pass, but Balor seems to realize that the faction is still missing a little something. On the latest episode of Breaking Character With Ryan Satin, he had this to say about the possibility of adding a fourth member to the group: "Maybe AJ, you know. We haven't essentially fallen out. We're just not on the same page. Maybe AJ, bring AJ in. I think his work as a heel is just, pardon the pun, but phenomenal." Balor also brought up Gunther, Ciampa, and Brock Lesnar as other performers he'd like to have under the Judgement Day flag. (h/t and a thank you to Sescoops.com for the transcription)

Brock Lesnar won't be joining any faction ever, but the possibility of Styles joining up with Balor's group isn't entirely out of the question. Before Finn turned heel and joined New Day, he'd been butting up against the group alongside Styles. AJ was quietly removed from the program and isn't involved in any long-term feuds.

WWE always has been hesitant to cash in on their Bullet Club background, but that might not be the case now that Triple H is running the show. It seems like Styles will be connected to whatever is going on with Dexter Lumis, but he seemed more concerned about Ciampa during a kidnapping segment that went down last week. That could open the door for a too-sweet reunion between Styles and Balor.
