WWE Superstar Zelina Vega recently showed off her inner gamer on social media with an impressive cosplay of Ahri from League of Legends. When she isn’t duking it out in the squared circle, Tina Trinidad loves dressing up as her favorite characters from video games or anime, such as Sailor Jupiter from the Sailor Moon franchise, Kitana from the Mortal Kombat series, or even fellow League Of Legends champion Jinx.

Aside from the many video games released by companies like WWE or AEW on a near-annual basis, there seems to be a strong connection between the worlds of gaming and wrestling. The New Day’s Xavier Woods recently landed his own gaming competition show on the revived G4 network, and fans have been arguing over their favorite JRPGs through crowd signs for years. Not every crossover between gaming and wrestling has been quite as positive, however, as was the case when WWE legend Booker T sued Activision over the character of Prophet in Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 - a case that he recently lost in June.

As reported by Dexerto, Tina Trinidad recently posted an image of herself dressed as Ahri from League Of Legends on her Instagram. The outfit she chose was Ahri’s “Pool Party” skin, consisting of a simple red and white bikini and Trinidad’s hair being styled as a pair of fox-like ears. To go with the image, Trinidad posted a quote that Ahri will often repeat in a game in the image's caption: “I don’t accept destiny… I defy it!

The kitsune-themed Ahri is just one of the many playable characters available in League Of Legends, which is preparing Preseason 2022, which includes a wave of additional content and gameplay patches. Riot Game’s popular multiplayer online battle arena title has inspired plenty of cosplay and other creative fan works, such as certain characters being reimagined as Pokémon Trainers or comparing the hooded Akshan to recurring Assassin’s Creed protagonist Desmond Miles and his various ancestors.

It's always nice to see celebrities expressing themselves as big gaming fans, whether it’s Michel B. Jordan appearing at last year’s inaugural Call Of Duty League Hype Battle competition or Henry Cavil talking about his failed attempt to beat The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on the hardest difficulty setting. Zelina Vega’s spot-on League of Legends cosplay is another fun display of gaming fandom from the fan-favorite WWE wrestler, one that players can certainly get a kick out of.
