Jimmy Uso - one half of multi-time WWE tag team champions The Usos - was reportedly arrested after an alleged drunken encounter with police. Debuting on the WWE main roster in 2010, Jimmy and Jey Uso have the wrestling business in their blood, so it was never really a surprise when they blossomed into one of the best tag teams in recent memory. Twin sons of dancing WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi - primarily known for his partnership with the team Too Cool during the early 2000s - The Usos have held a tag team championship in WWE on five occasions.

In addition to being Rikishi's son, The Usos also hail from the esteemed Anoa'i wrestling family, a Samoan dynasty that's produced multiple WWE stars. Other famous family members include the old-school tag team The Wild Samoans, 1990s Hulkamania-crushing WWE champion Yokozuna, mid-2000s monster heel Umaga, and modern day WWE poster boy Roman Reigns. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is also considered an honorary part of the lineage.

The Usos are currently set to challenge the team of The Miz and Shane McMahon for the SmackDown tag team championship at this Sunday's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. However, a wrench has been thrown into the works by Jimmy Uso himself, according to a TMZ report. Jimmy was reportedly arrested recently in Detroit, Michigan after he and his wife - and fellow WWE superstar - Naomi were pulled over for driving the wrong way on a one-way street. Circumstances escalated, and Jimmy was arrested, although he's now free on bond.

WWE - Jimmy Uso and Naomi

According to TMZ, Naomi was driving the car, and when the traffic stop was made, the vehicle noticeably smelled like alcohol. Naomi was asked to step out of the car, but while she was talking to police, Jimmy allegedly exited the vehicle without police permission, took off his shirt and jacket, and acted like he wanted to fight the officers. Jimmy is said to have eventually calmed down, complied with police commands, then been handcuffed and arrested. He's reportedly been charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction.

It's unclear at present if WWE intends to immediately punish Jimmy and/or Naomi for what happened, or instead wait and see how the legal case gets resolved. For now, the match between the Usos and Miz/Shane at Elimination Chamber is still a go. Naomi is also set to team with Carmella as part of the match to crown the first ever women's tag team champions. For what it's worth, Jey Uso was arrested for DUI in 2018, and the Usos seemed to suffer no form of punishment when it came to their careers, remaining near the top of the tag team ranks ever since.
