It's been quite some time since WWE fans have seen Bayley, and there is a perfect way to re-debut her during the upcoming SummerSlam premium live event. The Biggest Party Of The Summer is slated to take place on July 30, and several big matches make up the card. One bout, in particular, looks like the perfect place for Bayley to interject.

The former Hugger was injured leading up to the 2021 edition of Money In The Bank. Considering the 2022 version of that event just transpired, that illustrates just how long Bayley has been out of action. There had been rumblings about her possibly getting involved at WrestleMania 38, but that didn't end up happening, and she's remained on the sideline. Here's how she should make her surprise return at SummerSlam.

It's a fantasy booking, but the fight between Liv Morgan and Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown women's championship seems ripe for some shenanigans. The former is over like rover with the audience right now, and WWE might be shooting itself in the foot by taking the women's championship off of her while she's moving merch and getting positive reactions. Meanwhile, Rousey still needs to be protected to some degree, as she's generally always been booked strongly. WWE wants to continue to make her appear to be a credible threat, no matter what. Rousey typically goes months between losses, but beating Liv Morgan, who is a fan favorite, would almost certainly turn her heel or at least be received poorly. That's where Bayley comes in.

Bayley Should Interfere In Morgan vs. Rousey At SummerSlam

The Raw women's roster is currently stacked, but they could use a little help on SmackDown. Natalya and Rousey did their best to make their program matter, and Morgan's push gives the blue brand another main-event level face to work with, but the blue brand is lacking in female heels. It might be tempting to let Bayley receive a hero's welcome and bring her back as a face, but that isn't what the show needs right now. Right now, SmackDown needs villains. Lacey Evans is well on her way to becoming one, but she doesn't have the same championship pedigree that Bayley does.

If WWE wants to immediately make the former NXT standout one of the most despised superstars in the company, she should interfere and cost Liv Morgan her women's championship. The heat would be tremendous, and it would accomplish several things. Neither Rousey nor Morgan would have to lose clean, Bayley would have nuclear heat, and Liv chasing down the belt for a second time would be an emotional journey fans have already proven willing to go on. SummerSlam might not be the most exciting card in the event's history, but this would work on a lot of levels.
