The six Wrong Turn movies are marked by their cannibal family, and different members are featured throughout the course of the franchise, which originally released in 2003 and was directed by Rob Schmidt and written by Alan B. McElroy.

Though the rest of the movies that followed 2003's Wrong Turn went direct to video, the cannibal slasher franchise has developed quite a following. Periodically, some of the movies have been separated with a large gap between releases such as Wrong Turn (2003) and Wrong Turn 2: Dead End, which released four years later in 2007 under a new director: Joe Lynch. Two years later, in 2009, another new director, Declan O'Brien, took the franchise under his wing with the next three movies: Wrong Turn 3: Left For DeadWrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings (2011), and Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines (2012). O'Brien managed to keep a decent continuity with the cannibal family that was somewhat established in the first two movies, but enriched the lore. Then, in 2014, another director, Valeri Milev, separated the movies from the canon, though still featured some of the original cannibals even though the family's last name changed.

After the release of Milev's Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort, there has been a six year gap between movies. However, Wrong Turn: The Foundation—the seventh movie in the franchise—was announced in 2019, and is set for a 2020 release date. As of this writing, details about the movie's release date are still unknown, as are some of the key plot elements. Even so, Wrong Turn 7 has been touted as a reboot, with its script hailing from the franchise's original writer. It seems like the cannibals who were introduced in Wrong Turn and its many sequels may have graced the big screen for the last time, depending on what direction the franchise takes in the future. Here are all the cannibals that have been featured in a Wrong Turn movie so far.

Three Finger

Three Finger in Wrong Turn 2003

Three Finger, who was originally played by Julian Richings, is the most enduring cannibal in the Wrong Turn movie franchise. He is the only cannibal to have made an appearance in all six movies. In Wrong Turn, he was featured as part of a trio alongside his brothers, Saw Tooth and One Eye. After having a final battle with the movie's survivors, Jessie Burlingame (Eliza Dushku) and Chris Flynn (Desmond Harrington), all three cannibals were presumed dead, but Three Finger was revealed to be alive in a post-credits scene. From there, he went on to join his remaining family members in Wrong Turn 2, stood alone after the death of his nephew in Wrong Turn 3, and then retroactively expanded on his storyline in Wrong Turn 4 and Wrong Turn 5, which were prequels. He also is featured in Wrong Turn 6 with his brothers, just like the first movie.

Saw Tooth

Saw Tooth was also one of the original cannibals featured in Wrong Turn. He has been played by Gary Robbins, Scott Johnson, Bryan Verot, George Karlukovski, and Danko Jordanov throughout the movie franchise. Though he ended up dying at the end of the first movie, he came back to join his brothers in the prequel, Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings, and then continued on into Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines alongside Three Finger, Saw Tooth, and his father, Maynard. Saw Tooth also joined his brothers in Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort.

One Eye

One Eye was featured as a primary antagonist in the original Wrong Turn movie, part of the trio of deadly cannibals. He has been played by Ted Clark, Tristan Carlucci, Daniel Skene, Radoslav Parvanov, and Asen Asenov in the franchise. Like Saw Tooth, One Eye was killed at the end of the original Wrong Turn movie, but came back in Wrong Turn 4Wrong Turn 5, and Wrong Turn 6 to menace wayward travelers alongside his brothers.

Ma, Pa, Brother, Sister & Baby Three Toes

Brother and Sister Wrong Turn 2

Wrong Turn 2: Dead End was a direct follow-up to the original 2003 movie. Directed by Joe Lynch, the movie showcased a group of reality show contestants who end up falling into the traps of the murderous Odets family. Since the first movie killed off two of the three cannibals and left Three Finger as the only survivor, the sequel introduced  many more family members, most of whom only appeared in Wrong Turn 2. Unlike the Wrong Turn movies to follow, Wrong Turn and Wrong Turn 2 were good about evening the odds between hunters and hunted. Many of the cannibals died in each movie, where future installments occasionally boasted a complete loss for the cannibals' prey, with the villains being the only ones to survive.

Ma, Pa, Brother, and Sister were members of the Odets family, who have been confirmed to the be original cannibals in the franchise along with Saw Tooth, Three Finger, and One Eye. They all are from the Odets family tree, which began with Maynard and Delilah, the latter of whom was never depicted onscreen. In Wrong Turn 2, Baby Three Toes (Baby Splooge) becomes the newest addition to the family, with Ma giving birth to him early in the movie. Ma and Pa are the parents of Brother and Sister, who are twins (and in a relationship). By the end of Wrong Turn 2, Three Finger and Baby Three Toes are the only cannibal survivors, but Three Toes ended up being killed in Wrong Turn 3.

Maynard Odets

Wayne Robson Wrong Turn 2003

Though introduced in the original Wrong Turn movie, the Old Man (Wayne Robson) became somewhat of a plot hole later in the franchise, due to his reaction to the cannibals' truck. Later, he was revealed to be Maynard Odets, the patriarch of the Odets family who, along with his deceased wife, Delilah, raised the original three cannibals. He died in Wrong Turn 2, but later returned—and was played by Hellraiser's Doug Bradley—in Wrong Turn 5. Maynard doesn't seem to have any of the mutations that the other cannibals do. The reason for their mutations is due to chemical run-off due to a nearby paper mill; it's also possible that he and Delilah had an incestuous relationship, but this hasn't been confirmed, as little is known about the cannibals' mother.

In Wrong Turn 5, Maynard is the lead antagonist, and boasts the same penchant for killing as his sons, and might even enjoy it more, as the others primarily seem to kill in order to survive. In the first two movies, Maynard is shown working at a nearby gas station, and misdirects travelers to take a certain road that will inevitably lead them to their doom. While a common plot point in many horror movies, Wrong Turn made his role more interesting by expanding on his character in the sequels rather than just having him be a harbinger for the violence to come.
