The newest trailer for Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2, is so packed full of Disney characters that it's hard to know where to start. The movie itself won't arrive until Thanksgiving, but what we've seen in the first two trailers looks promising, as Ralph (John C. Reilly) and Vanellope (Sarah Silverman) end up heading to the internet, which Ralph then breaks (not wrecks, even though it sounds better).
After consulting an over-enthusiastic search engine (Alan Tudyk), the pair are whisked away to Oh My Disney, where all things Disney live, naturally. Some of the cameos are blink and you miss them, but others are more substantial. We've rounded them all up below.
The Princesses Are Badass
Let's start with the most substantial, and obvious, cameos from the Disney Princesses. We already knew this would be happening, but the whole sequence is hilarious. Though they often appear on merchandise together, the Disney Princesses never really interact on screen together. Now, in the Wreck-It Ralph 2 trailer, Snow White, Ariel, Cinderella, Belle, Rapunzel, Elsa, Anna, Moana, Mulan, Aurora, Pocahontas, Jasmine, and Merida all seem to live together, along with their animal pals. Vanellope finds herself in their midst, and Cinderella is immediately on guard, smashing a glass slipper and threatening her with it as it if were a bottle. A discussion ensues, and when Vanellope asks why the guy always gets to save the day, she is deemed to be a true Princess.
Eeyore Is As Happy As Ever
As Vanellope and Ralph enter Oh My Disney, we immediately see the Disney castle looming behind the logo. We are then taken inside of it, to a busy area where the Princesses are assembled, greeting fans. Sitting beside Vanellope is Eeyore, who is as happy as always. He objects to Vanellope's reaction, that cartoon characters make her want to barf, but their dialogue is interrupted by...
Iron Man Makes An Entrance
The superhero makes a swift flight through the castle, and we also see his hand featured alongside with the Marvel logo. There's other significant Marvel items, too, including Mjolnir and Captain America's shield, signifying that Wreck-It Ralph 2 will encompass all the Disney franchises, including....
Not only do we see the Star Wars Logo, we also see the Millennium Falcon welcoming us to the world of Disney. Also glimpsed in that shot is R2-D2, and the Death Star lurking ominously in the background. TIE Fighters also swoop in and out of shot. Later, there's the arrival of the Stormtroopers, who give chase to Vanellope, prompting her arrival in the Princesses chamber.
In the middle of the shot is the big Disney Animation hat; a familiar object to many, especially if you've visited any of the parks. There's also the Marvel Logo, with Iron Man's hand, Pixar, and The Muppet Show, all brands that (along with Star Wars) now reside in the House of Mouse. Alongside the Pixar logo is Luxo, the iconic desk lamp, and also the Luxo ball. In front of the Muppet Show logo is Kermit and Beaker. Are these 'clickable links,' or in other words, portals for Ralph and Vanellope to travel through in the internet? There's a whole host of other Disney characters and movies referenced in that very brief scene too, including...
The Up House - To the left of the screen, above the Muppet Show logo.
Cars - Again to the far left of the screen, the Cars logo or link, on a checkered background, and a picture of Lighting McQueen, can be seen.
Frozen- Elsa can be seen on a billboard with her hands outstretched.
Baymax- Immediately next to the Cars logo is Baymax from Big Hero 6 dressed in his red armor.
Mickey Mouse- As if he could ever be excluded! Standing on top of the animation hat, is Mickey Mouse dressed as the Sorcerer's Apprentice.
Dumbo - In front of the animators hat, Dumbo is flying above the crowd
Eve - In front of the Pixar logo we find Eve, from Wall-E, hovering.
Big Ben and Captain Hook's Ship- Right behind the Pixar logo, almost out of sight, is Captain Hook's ship and the face of Big Ben from Peter Pan.
Arlo- The Good Dinosaur star is happily smiling down on guests from next to the Pixar logo
There's also stills from various Disney movies on the animation reel circling the animation hat- we spotted the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, Hercules, Lady and the Tramp, and possibly Tarzan.
Finally, not so much hidden Mickeys (though there probably are some!), the spotlights that shine on Vanellope as the Stormtroopers close in are Mickey shaped, and the sign on the Princesses door also has the familiar Mickey head.
