Action star Jason Statham and Snatch director Guy Ritchie are reuniting for 2021 movie Wrath of Man, but what's it all about? The crime thriller reunites the pair who previously collaborated for several genre classics. In March 2021, MGM released Wrath of Man's official trailer, which teases the May 2021 release for the English director's 12th feature film.

In the late 90s, Statham was a 30-year-old model with no film credits to his name. However, after landing a role in Ritchie's directorial debut (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels)he quickly evolved into a proper movie star, evidenced by leading roles in The One, The Transporter, and Ritchie's 2005 film Revolver. As Statham further developed his career, Ritchie moved away from indie crime films in favor of blockbusters like Sherlock HolmesThe Man from U.N.C.L.E.King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, and Aladdin, but then returned to his genre roots with the 2020 hit The Gentlemen. With Wrath of Man, Statham and Ritchie team up for the first time in 15 years.

Ritchie is well-known for his witty screenplays, however, Wrath of Man isn't an original production but rather a remake of the 2004 French film Le Convoyeur (Cash Truck). Still, fans of the English director and his famous leading man will surely be curious about the adaptation, and whether or not they evolve the genre. Here's everything we know about Wrath of Man.
