Season 1 of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is underway, and many players are reaching the endgame content of WoW's latest expansion. The endgame area, called the Maw, prevents players from calling mounts, which can make traversing the zone incredibly dangerous. However, certain Shadowlands mounts will still work in the endgame area, and players have discovered and confirmed some new mounts which work in the Maw.

WoW's current endgame is full of difficult content. Blizzard Entertainment is even making the Torghast dungeon easier after an outcry from fans. The endgame is made even harder due to the fact that most mounts don't work in the Maw. This was initially discovered during the Shadowlands beta, but it holds true even now that the expansion has fully released. This can make traveling in the Maw a dangerous and arduous task, but there are thankfully some new mounts that have been confirmed to work inside the zone.

World of Warcraft's new Shadowlands expansion comes with a lot of new mounts, including a Sinrunner Blanchy mount that's a great ode to longtime fans, but most of them don't appear to work inside the Maw. Of course, Blizzard updates WoW often, so this may all change. And with content this new, players may discover other WoW: Shadowlands mounts over time. For now, though, it looks like there are two confirmed new mounts that work inside the Maw.

How To Get A Shadowlands Mount That Works In The Maw

Wings of Torghast need to be unlocked in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands

So far, there have been two new mounts confirmed to work in Shadowlands by Wowhead users. The first was confirmed during the beta and is the Corridor Creeper. In order to get this mount, players will have to first finish up the Torghast: The Twisting Corridors on the Eighth Layer. This is the more challenging mode of Torghast, and is a five-member raid. It may take ten or more hours to get through the Eighth Layer, so it'll take some dedication. The more challenging Torghast raid is available this week, so players can start trying for the Corridor Creeper mount now.

The other confirmed WoW: Shadowlands mount is the Mawsworn Soulhunter, which is a rare drop from the Elite Gorged Shadehound. The "Hunt: Shadehounds" event can be found inside the Maw, but the mount is an incredibly rare drop. Players will need a significant amount of luck if they want to acquire Shadowlands' Mawsworn Soulhunter for themselves.

Both the Mawsworn Soulhunter and Corridor Creeper have been confirmed as WoW: Shadowlands mounts that work inside the Maw. However, they're far from the easiest mounts to get in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. Future updates and player discoveries may mean more new mounts will work in the future, but these are the only ones confirmed to work in the Maw so far.
