Blumhouse Productions has been the mastermind behind many of our favorite horror movies. From Split to Insidious to Get Outwe're all familiar with and love at least a few of these incredible films. However, it goes without saying that not all of their films can be great. In fact, we all know that some horror movies can be really, really bad. So, with Halloween just around the corner, we thought we'd make a list of the worst (and therefore, most hilarious) horror movies to binge by Blumhouse.

You know you're going to watch them anyway because who doesn't like a bad horror flick? Or, if you're an alien or something, maybe you can at least know which ones to avoid. Happy Halloween from Blumhouse and their 10 worst films, according to IMDb.

Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension (2015) - 4.6/10

Honestly, none of the films from this series did super well. Why did they make so many of them? Well, everyone loves an incredibly bad but still super creepy film about an evil spirit, we guess.

This one is no different, and it follows a family who tries to protect their young daughter from an evil entity, using a special camera that can see spirits. Yes, it's creepy and full of all the fun jump scares you love to watch with your friends. So, who cares about the 4.6/10, right?

The Gallows Act II (2019) - 4.6/10

You'll find the first part of this series lower down the list (and it's a wonder why they ever made a second one), but the sequel only managed a 4.6/10. This horror movie follows a girl who transfers to a prestigious art school. She participates in a viral challenge, only to discover a malicious and evil spirit.

The tagline for this movie is literally "Evil Chooses You", so, do with that as you will. Still, the Gallows are creepy, and who doesn't love a bad horror flick to watch with your friends on Halloween?

Ouija (2014) - 4.5/10

We've all seen this classic, right? Well, you were probably disappointed, but hey, it's suspenseful and fun. Starring Olivia Cooke, this film follows a group of friends who try to solve the mystery of a girl who died while using a Ouija board. (Naturally), they use the board themselves, and find out that some mysteries are better left unsolved.

This flick only got a 4.5/10, but who doesn't love a bit of Ouija board horror? We definitely do, and regardless how bad the film is, we're betting you'll never use a Ouija board.

Exeter (2015) - 4.5/10

This film follows a group of teenagers who, partying at an abandoned asylum, begin to experiment with the occult. Naturally, they release an evil spirit. Of course, that spirit slowly begins to possess each of them, one by one. To get out, they must uncover the secrets of the asylum.

This film is directed by Marcus Nispel, the mind behind Friday the 13th and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Clearly, this one didn't quite hold up with the critics, but we have to admit that this premise is intriguing, and it will probably still keep you on the edge of your seat during all its horribleness.

The Darkness (2016) - 4.4/10

This thriller follows a family who embarks on a vacation to the Grand Canyon. Their autistic son discovers a small cavern with glyphs and rocks, and takes them home, unknowingly awakening a supernatural entity from ancient times. When the family returns home, things begin to get a bit spooky.

This movie actually stars Kevin Bacon, but it's clear he couldn't exactly save the disappointing score of 4.4/10. Still, a bad horror movie with Kevin Bacon and ancient spirits? Sign us up.

Area 51 (2015) - 4.2/10

We all love an alien horror flick, right? Well, clearly some people didn't because of the low IMDb rating, but we still think it's tons of sci-fi fun. Three conspiracy theorists attempt to uncover the secrets of Area 51, but they aren't ready to face what they find.

This movie is directed by Oren Pell (who directed Paranormal Activity), but clearly it still fell short. Still, maybe this movie is pretty timely after the storming of Area 51 earlier this year, right? Spoiler: they find aliens.

The Gallows (2015) - 4.2/10

This film takes place 20 years after a horrific accident at a school play. The students of the school try to resurrect the show to honor the anniversary of the tragedy and quickly find out that some things are better left in the past. This is another regular school horror flick, and a 4.2/10 isn't exactly worth bragging about.

However, it's still intense and enthralling, and will definitely give you your cheap Halloween thrills. Besides, as mentioned earlier, the Gallows are creepy.

Mockingbird (2014) - 4.1/10

This thriller centers around a couple who discover a camera. The trick, though, is that the camera comes with instructions, and if they don't follow them, someone will die.

On the other hand, a single man receives a clown outfit with instructions. These two stories intertwine in a pretty tragic way as they try to find out who's behind the ruse. Yes, this movie has a clown, so fair warning. However, we suggest it's hilariously intense.

Martyrs (2015) - 4.0/10

This film is directed by the Goetz brothers, and follows a woman and her childhood friend as they seek out revenge on their abusers. This revenge plot quickly turns into the uncovering of a sadistic cult, who seeks to make a Martyr of each of their subjects. This movie kind of sounds interesting, but it only scored a flat 4/10.

So, we don't overly suggest it, but this movie definitely has some disturbing and creepy imagery to give you your thrills on a late October night.

Thriller (2018) - 3.8/10

Honestly, a 3.8 is actually kind of impressive. This is another cliche high school horror flick that hollows a clique from Los Angeles. The victim of a bad childhood prank returns home during their Homecoming weekend, and things get spooky. Not only is the title of this movie super uncreative, but you can guess the film doesn't have a whole lot more to offer.

However, if you're looking to indulge in a hilariously bad horror movie by your favorite production studio, you can't look any further than this one. Warning: it's said to be nothing more than a laugh, but hey, sometimes we all need one of those.
