An amazing World of Warcraft Dwarf cosplay cleverly hides the wearer's true height using a creative addition. Blizzard Entertainment's massively multiplayer online role-playing game features many different playable races, with dwarves being one of the most iconic and popular inhabitants of Azeroth. One fan's incredible WoW cosplay of Bolvar Fordragon won Best in Show at BlizzCon 2021, and now a Dwarf cosplay has achieved a similar level of detail and authenticity.

Blizzard's World of Warcraft released back in 2004, and since then dwarves have been an important part of the game's world. The ancient and courageous race's various clans are known to reside in mountains, with metalwork being the most popular trade among the hardy people. While dwarves in World of Warcraft are short, gnomes actually surpass them as the MMORPG's shortest playable race. As members of the Grand Alliance faction, dwarves are allies of other renowned races like humans and some varieties of elf. While the Dracthyr Evoker race coming to World of Warcraft will provide an original new gameplay experience, gamers never seem to tire of dwarves and their stalwart strength.

Redditor 3dbdotcom has put together an amazing World of Warcraft Dwarf cosplay that perfectly captures the race's fashion and stature. The impressive creation comes complete with red hair and a matching braided beard, and the character's tunic also reflects the race's adventurous and constructive nature. 3dbdotcom also wields a detailed hammer, quite large for the Dwarf's size, but capturing the Dwarf's height by strapping barrels to the warrior's feet makes the cosplay truly special. This unique addition to the design hides 3dbdotcom's human-sized legs in a way that also adds personality to the costume and fits perfectly into the World of Warcraft universe.

Like 3dbdotcom, many gamers tend to cosplay as video game characters in order to flex their creativity and transform themselves into popular figures. Data suggests that the most popular cosplay subjects come from League of Legends and Final Fantasy, with female characters like Tifa and Jinx apparently reigning supreme as particularly popular subjects. Male cosplay is reportedly quite common in manga and anime fandoms, but video game cosplayers are predominantly female. That said, cosplayers like 3dbdotcom prove that all kinds of gamers are able to build breathtaking cosplays of their favorite characters.

By using a simple but very effective trick, 3dbdotcom is able to truly embody the look and feel of a World of Warcraft Dwarf. The use of barrel shoes turns an already impressive cosplay into a true marvel, with the wearer able to walk normally without breaking the illusion and still fitting into the MMORPG's fantasy world. With a hammer in hand and barrels for extra height, 3dbdotcom's Dwarf character looks ready for a real-life raid.
