February 7th’s Wordle answer was a bit easier, even though it featured a letter being used twice. Players can guess today’s Wordle answer is less than six tries or less if they get a few hints. Wordle challenged players to guess the right five-letter word that changes every 24 hours. The puzzle can be played using a smartphone or a device with an internet browser. It’s worth pointing out that a player’s progress does not carry over between separate devices.
New players can get acquainted with Wordle’s rules that are easy to follow once they get the hang of it. Players have six tries to input five-letter words in the empty boxes to get the right answer. If a box containing a letter turns green, that means the word is present in today’s Wordle answer and is being used in the right spot. However, if a box containing a letter turns yellow, that means the letter is being used in today’s answer but is not being used in the correct spot. If players don’t see a box changing colors to either green or yellow, that means the letter is not being used in today’s Wordle answer.
Once players are done attempting the puzzle, they can share the progress of today’s Wordle answer on social media. Players can click on the ‘Share’ button that results in the website copying a set of emojis and number of attempts to the clipboard. The copied text and emojis will contain color-coded boxes and the number of attempts that other players can understand without getting any spoilers.
Wordle’s February 7, 2022 (#233) Hints & Answer
Today’s Wordle answer was slightly tricky as it contained two letters being used in different spots. If players cannot guess today’s answer, we’ve provided a few hints that are somewhat similar to clues players may have come across in crossword puzzles before. These hints might help players guess today’s Wordle answer.

- Hint 2: A person who is a senior figure.
- Hint 3: Someone who can be an influential member of a tribe.
Wordle 233 Answer (February 7)
The Wordle answer for February 5th is ELDER. An Elder person can often be described as a senior citizen or a leader of a tribe. The word is also used in the title of the popular game series The Elder Scrolls.
When trying to guess today’s word, we used the word ‘MOULD’ that revealed two letters being used in the wrong spot. In our second attempt, we used the word ‘SMELT,’ which revealed two additional letters being used incorrectly. Finally, we used the word ‘OLDER’ for the third attempt, which revealed that four letters were being used in the right spot in today’s answer. Once four Wordle boxes turned green, it was easy to guess ‘ELDER.’
