Today's Wordle answer goes great with a cup of coffee, and isn't too difficult to solve. Wordle continues to be the highlight of many people's days, as they continue to share their process all over social media. What was essentially a simple five-letter word guessing game, has now become a household name. Wordle is the perfect little distraction to start the day, or just take a break from work.
Wordle is a word-guessing game where players need to solve a five-letter word within six chances. Every day there is a new word, and only after midnight will the next word appear. Unlike many other games that let players continue, Wordle has them wait until the next day for another word, based on their time zone. This, and the simple design of the "Share" aspect, has brought Wordle to the forefront of social media with thousands of little yellow and green boxes filling up people's timelines.
To begin a Wordle, all players need to do is guess a random starting word, this will begin the Mastermind-like chain that leads to the proper answer. After entering the first guess, the website highlights certain letters green if they are correct, yellow if they are correct but in the wrong spot, or grey if they are not in the word at all. With this simple information, players need to guess a second word, and so on until they get it, or fail. There is also a Wordle 'Hard Mode' that players can choose to turn on in the options, which stops players from using letters that have already been previously guessed incorrectly.

Wordle 223 Answer (January 28)
If the hints didn't already spoil it, today's Wordle answer is PERKY. Nothing too difficult for today, no tricky double letters, no use of Q, X, or Z. As always, it's best to begin with a strong starting word. Today we used ROAST, which did not offer too much in the way of information. From there, PEERS, which gave away the first two letters and another hint for the R. Third was PERRY and this pretty much solidified the answer in four guesses.
Wordle has certainly become one of the highlights of many people's days, and its continued success shows that even the simplest of games can have a lasting impact.
