The word guessing game Wordle has been going strong ever since it took off on social media. The daily word puzzle was developed by a single developer known as Josh Wardle, and it challenges players to guess the word of the day in six tries or less. Playing the word-guessing game is fairly straightforward, apart from a few Wordle rules players need to keep in mind. Players must guess the five-letter word in six tries, and with each submission, the letters will turn either green or yellow. Wordle players can simply click on the ‘Share’ button and paste their attempt on a social media website as a Tweet or as a post. Clicking the ‘Share’ button will copy the number of guesses and the color-coded boxes signifying how close or far away the players were from guessing the word.

While there is no particular strategy to use when trying to guess the daily Wordle answer, it’s best to use some of the most used letters in words. As a rule, the first attempt should include letters such as — A, E, I, O, U, L, N, S, T, and R. In this case, using the word ‘SMALL’ was a great start as it would result in showing two letters being used in the right spot. Then, after using the word ‘DROLL,’ another letter was marked as a green box, and from there, it got easier to solve the Wordle of the day.

Players wanting to have another go at Wordle will have to wait till midnight local time for the puzzle to reset and then try to guess the new five-letter word of the day.
