Woody Harrelson reacts to his online baby look alike in a new Instagram post. Harrelson, 61, has been acting now for over 40 years. He gained fame through his role in the TV series Cheers, which ran from 1985-1993. He has continued to have a successful acting career, having lead roles in True Detective, The Hunger Games series, War for the Planet of the Apes, and smaller independent films like Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. His most recent projects include Cannes hit Triangle of Sadness and action comedy The Man from Toronto.
Recently, Harrelson came up in the news in a perhaps unexpected way. A mom posted a picture of her smiling baby online, with a caption expressing the baby’s likeness to Harrelson. Many on the internet agreed with this comparison, and the baby picture quickly circulated online. The original post went viral, and it apparently found its way to Harrelson, who has a cute response to the image.
Harrelson himself finds a creative way to respond to the image in a new post on his Instagram. In his post, Harrelson included a screenshot of the original tweet that inspired the online buzz. In his caption, he wrote a four-line rhyming poem titled “Ode to Cora” in honor of the little girl, with a light and comedic flare. Check out the post below:

Between expressing his flattery and his hilarious last line chiding his own baldness, Harrelson’s post is a funny and creative way to honor the online sensation. Though he has a charming side to him, Harrelson is often known for his gruff roles including Haymitch Abernathy in The Hunger Games and the villain The Colonel in War for the Planet of the Apes. To see the actor compared to a smiling baby is funny within itself. Harrelson’s sweet post just upgrades the comedy at all, and reveals a sincere and softer side of Harrelson that fans may not always see in his on-screen work.
Harrelson continues his busy schedule, as the actor has a full slate of titles coming up the pike. Harrelson will star in a five-part miniseries called The White House Plumbers, wherein he plays CIA officer E. Howard Hunt during the era of the Nixon administration. After this show, he will play the head coach of a Special Olympics basketball team in the comedy drama Champions, followed by a role in an upcoming TV series called The Most Dangerous Man in America, and a dramatic adaptation of the documentary Last Breath. As he continues to take on new roles, hopefully viewers will get to see more of his lighter side he demonstrates in his social media post.
