Although Princess Diana of Themyscira a.k.a. Wonder Woman is not known for being a speedster like the Flash, she's still agile enough to catch one! Even though Princess Diana doesn't make the list of speedsters ranked from slowest to fastest and proves Barry Allen a.k.a. the Flash is even faster than the gods, she's still quicker than the Greek god and messenger Hermes, which makes her a lethal adversary to any superhero/villain that can harness the Speed Force, a force that grants all speedsters their power.

In addition to being faster than Hermes, she doesn't have any known weaknesses, which is why Batman isn't afraid of any superhero except for Wonder Woman. So when the Suicide Squad, a group of merciless supervillains brought together by director Amanda Waller, decide to take on Wonder Woman and Clark Kent a.k.a. Superman in Superman/Wonder Woman #19, the sinister speedster Eobard Thawne a.k.a. Reverse-Flash thinks he can outrun the demigoddess' grip, but he thinks wrong.

As Superman and Wonder Woman search the Smallville Cemetary in Kansas for answers as to why the Man of Steel is losing his luster, the Suicide Squad, which includes the supervillains Black Manta, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, as well as the Reverse-Flash, intervene and begin attacking the two superheroes. As the battle between the Suicide Squad, Superman, and Wonder Woman rages on, the Reverse-Flash begins throwing punches at Princess Diana; moving at a rate nearly impossible to catch. But the Amazing Amazon does the impossible and kicks the Reverse-Flash in the face in the midst of his running. Immediately after kicking the speedster in the face, Wonder Woman grabs Captain Boomerang by his costume and neck; then, smashes him on the ground, leaving him and the Reverse-Flash incapacitated.

Wonder Woman Reverse Flash Comic Fight

But the fighting doesn't stop there because there's still four more members of the Suicide Squad to take out. While Superman is fighting Harley Quinn and is dodging every swing with her metal bat, she decides to switch up her tactics and uses a gun instead. Though Superman and Wonder Woman are romantically involved so as soon as Harley begins to shoot Superman and weakens the Man of Steel, Wonder Woman will do anything to save him. Hence, why she intervenes, wraps Harley up in her Lasso of Truth, and socks her in the mouth. Another down, two more to go. Of course Black Manta and Deadshot remain headstrong and try to take down Superman and Wonder Woman, but it doesn't take long for Wonder Woman to knock out Deadshot and for Superman to jump ontop of Black Manta and punch his bulky mask till it cracks.

Since the dawn of DC's Wonder Woman, she has been underestimated by countless men who think they can walk-or in this case-run all over her. But once again, the Amazing Amazon proves to the man and speedster Eobard Thawne that she shouldn't be trivialized. Even though Wonder Woman's swift kick to the Reverse-Flash's face is not her most brutal attack, it's certainly one that will surprise fans.
