A brand new behind-the-scenes video for Wonder Woman has been released online courtesy of Gal Gadot. The DC Extended Universe film has been out for more than a month now and has continued to have a presence in movie theaters around the world due to its rewatchability despite the fact that a lot of other blockbuster flicks have already landed like Transformers: The Last Knight and Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Since its debut in early June, Wonder Woman has become both massive box office and critical success. Gadot, who plays the titular character was applauded for her impressive ability to breathe new life into the iconic DC superhero following Lynda Carter's memorable TV series in the '70s. The Patty Jenkins-helmed movie also nabbed impressive box office numbers becoming the highest grossing film directed by a single female director. Further, it recently passed the $700 million mark to become the DCEU's highest grosser and pushed the DCEU past $3 billion at worldwide box office.

In the never-before-seen footage [above] from the movie, which Gadot shared on her official Twitter, the actress is seen bouncing in enthusiasm while filming the well-received movie. She chalks up her eagerness to tackle the role to the long preparation process that she had to undergo to make sure she was both physically and mentally ready to take on the iconic role of Wonder Woman:

“I had such a buildup to Wonder Woman and I was so ready. I had these months and months and months of me getting super excited about this character. I literally just wanted to attack, to give it a bite, to dive in. I was so ready.”

It is no secret that Gadot has been very enthusiastic of the gig. During her numerous press appearances, she appeared to just exude excitement for the character. This is despite the fact that a lot of fans were initially skeptical of her when she was cast given her short Hollywood resume and even her physique. But the actress moved forward and proved the critics wrong.

Obviously, an imminent Wonder Woman sequel is already in development for the DCEU, although specific information regarding it is still scarce at this point. Gadot will reprise her role as Diana of Themyscira and while everyone is counting on Jenkins getting back behind the camera, the director has yet to officially sign on for the project.

Before the actress embarks on another solo adventure, she will first come together with all the other DCEU superheroes for Justice League set to release later this year. In the ensemble film, Gadot's Wonder Woman will reunite with Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne/Batman and Henry Cavill's Clark Kent/Superman, as well as, get acquainted with newbies like Ezra Miller's Barry Allen/The Flash, Jason Momoa's Arthur Curry/Aquaman and Ray Fisher's Victor Stone/Cyborg.
