A new Wonder Woman 1984 toy teases a comics accurate look for Kristen Wiig's Cheetah. So far, the marketing for Wonder Woman 1984 has kept Barbara Minerva's final Cheetah form a mystery, and fans are eager to get their first official look at her. Unfortunately, with the film being pushed back from June to August, their wait has gotten a bit longer. However, some early images of the merchandise associated with the film have hinted at what she will look like, and it seems like director Patty Jenkins has gone with a more comics accurate look for her, which is sure to please fans.

Exactly how Barbara will become Cheetah in Wonder Woman 1984 is a mystery, since her backstory has gotten a bit of a rewrite. However, many are expecting her to join forces with Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal), the film's other villain. Their motivations are still largely unknown at this point, but fans are excited to see Diana (Gal Gadot) go head to head with them. The first trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 suggested Diana and Barbara start off as friends, though that's almost certainly going to go awry soon enough.

A leaked image of Cheetah's Funko Pop doll, shared by The Pop Shack on Instagram, shows her final appearance, and it definitely matches up with what fans have seen in the comics. You can see it for yourself below:

This is the best look fans have gotten yet of Cheetah's final appearance, as before they only had a LEGO figurine to use as reference. It's clear Warner Bros. and Jenkins are eager to keep this a surprise for the finished film, but when it comes to comic book movies, fans are always desperate to see how the characters will translate from page to screen. Interestingly, Cheetah's costume is mostly practical effects, which could help prevent her from looking too cartoon-ish (or, more terrifyingly, like someone out of Cats).

Since Cheetah is one of Wonder Woman's most well-known adversaries from the comics, fans are excited to see her get brought to life. The extra two-month wait has likely dampened their spirits, but Jenkins has insisted that fans should get to see Wonder Woman 1984 as it's meant to be seen: In a theater. Hopefully, after all this mystery and speculation, Cheetah's appearance will live up to expectations. Perhaps we'll get a better look at her whenever Wonder Woman 1984's second trailer rolls out. Until then, we only have the toys.
