The Wonder Woman 1984 cast brings back several people from the first Wonder Woman movie while also introducing DCEU fans to a whole host of new characters. Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman 1984 sees Gal Gadot reprise her role as Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman, and it takes place 66 years after the events of the first film, during the tail-end of the Cold War.

A lot has changed in Diana's life by the time Wonder Woman 1984 opens. She's no longer the fish out of water that she was in 1918, and is instead a leading member of the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C., living a rather normal life. She goes to work where she studies ancient artifacts, goes out for dinner at street cafes, and then goes home before repeating the process again. Of course, she tends to save pedestrians from being killed by speeding cars and rescues children from robbers in local malls, but besides her part-time gig as a friendly neighborhood Wonder Woman, she's rather secluded.
